I would imagine even that much varies. Are we speaking in terms of familial, friendship, or romantic?

As far as I'm aware it's all highly subjective. So I doubt you'll find any one correct or incorrect answer regardless of which variety you're asking about.

I have experience with the familiar variety and arguably that of friendship. Past that, I'm afraid I'm not the person to ask romantic advice from. The concept mystifies and confuses me, and I doubt I could feel that particular emotion if I tried.

It's not a matter of actively discouraging myself. I just have other things to prioritize over contemplating my emotional capacity and/or relationship status.

Back to the matter at hand, I would assume love of the romantic variety to be approximately similar to devotion or loyalty in some more extreme degree.
