Can anyone here answer a question I have had? It is simply, well...

What is love?

Usually you gotta get permission from the dad of whoever you want to marry 'cause they'd know best if it was a good marriage! But here I don't think most people have their dads so maybe you'd have to ask someone else who's sort of like a dad?

I've seen weddings at home before and everyone at home teaches me how it works!

You just gotta prove that you can take care of whoever you want to court 'cause otherwise it's real selfish to try to court someone just 'cause you like them if you can't take care of 'em!

I like weddings, they're nice. It seems like there's lots of different kinds.

I've seen ones with dow--dowr--dowries and getting engaged and getting married and ones in churches and ones in meetinghouses where the people getting married make their own vows and ones in languages I don't know and ones with parties at the bride's house and lots and lots, people have so many!

Where I'm from everybody's from way across the ocean and they come to live with me and they do stuff from the places they used to live. I guess that's sort of like this place--'cept my house is better. So once you do courting and know you can take care of whoever you wanna marry you can do a marriage from where you're from or where whoever you're getting married to's from.
