Is it normal to be confused about how you feel towards someone, especially when you meet them, then? I apologize, this is a new and strange feeling for me, so I do not have that much experience in the matter.

However, I do appreciate your help in allowing me to understand this better.

When with someone you love, yes, I think so! I remember that whenever I met with my wife the first times, something was different. There are many kinds of love-- Friendship, family bonds, et caetera. Yet they are all clearly distinguishable.

The way you will feel toward a friend and a 'soulmate', as the saying goes, will be different. Unfortunately, I believe this is as far as my expertise in the matter can help!
