What do you do when you wake up to realize that you're once again entirely alone?
A promise of change that never happens. In this place, of all places, I was almost happy again. I could have been happy again.
But then I woke up. And I was once again completely alone.
How do you go on from that? Is it even possible?

What do we do from here? Everyone in our own worlds are dead. Even if we do meet loved ones, they're loved ones from worlds where we ourselves are dead.
We're living on borrowed time now.

It sounds like people are trying to do something about the situation, but I'm afraid I don't know what they're doing about it.
Borrowed time... is that what the countdown on the terminals refers to?

I know that people are trying to do something about it, but is there a point to it? Seeing your personal hell as nothing more than dirt and dust does a lot to change your perspective.

[Sephira isn't entirely sure she understands, but she lets Neal move on.]
So it was a very "tenacious" place? A place that would be difficult to destroy or eliminate from memory?

It's hard to explain.

Can't imagine it's easier for anyone else.
It was easier seeing the city I lived in gone than it was Neverland.

Neverland is one of them.

Things and people can hop from world to world in mine, but only with some sort of portal which is kind of rare. Interesting to hear that that multiple worlds aren't entirely unheard of.
Though I guess anyone who has been here long enough knows about them anyway.
text
That is true. I have seen all kinds of people here... if multiple worlds did not exist in your universe, it is very difficult to deny them now.

You get used to it.
