What do you do when you wake up to realize that you're once again entirely alone?

A promise of change that never happens. In this place, of all places, I was almost happy again. I could have been happy again.

But then I woke up. And I was once again completely alone.

How do you go on from that? Is it even possible?

You don't have to owe him anything--I'm under the impression that you care about him. Have I misunderstood again?

Of course--it's not my place. But it seems strange to me that you would be so distressed about him leaving, and yet be unsure about whether or not you want to save him. I mean...I was pretty upset when I came here and my wife was left behind. I still am. But the decision to bring her back is...obvious, really. She's family. Regardless of our differences, we always fight for family.

Would you still fight for her if she chose material possessions over you?

The ability to control people over you?

I thought he had changed, but his disappearance has made it clear he never did and never will.

Without question--but that's beside the point. You don't...really think he left intentionally, do you?

In any case, I've been at this terminal long enough.
