Ugh, hi, I guess they found me again. If anyone's wondering, being alone in a destroyed world might just be worse than the tower, but it's a tough call.

So, what did I miss?

[Kariya is in the cafeteria himself, eating oatmeal as if he's just arrived as well. When the sad truth is... he really can't eat the other food. Even if it's all illusory, it still has an effect on his illusory stomach. So--watery oatmeal it is.

He's not in the best shape, drained and wan and lacking half an arm, but he's resilient. When he sees Waver he blinks and appears to brighten.]

Waver? Is it really you?

[There's no doubt Kariiya's condition is worse than ever, but even so, Waver too brightens when he hears Kariya and turns to see him. He certainly wouldn't have survived if he'd ended up in their destroyed world as Waver had, and he worries about Kariya, so any little thing is enough to relieve him.]

Yeah, it is.

[He gets up and brings his oatmeal over to sit with Kariya.]

You came back--! I'm glad to see you again. It's been such a long time. Were you--

What happened to you, while you were gone?

[Of course, he's thinking about Sakura. Not that he isn't genuinely glad to see Waver.]
