Well, I was going to ask about giant cakes that women jump out of, since that came up in conversation and I really don't understand the concept, but maybe that's too narrow a question to be a good network post.

So, that's question one. Question two:

Meeting all the people from other worlds in this tower... The best part of this bad experience is the way people you meet can change you and your way of thinking. If you don't mind - you can be anonymous if you want - could you share some things about the people you've met and the friendships you've formed?

Oh. I never used to like my surname, but now it doesn't sound too bad.

Yeah, that's true. Though I'm still surprised that you took on my surname, since I thought you were gonna keep your name the same.

Isn't having the same surname what you do when you're married?

That's right. But

I dunno, I guess where I hated it before, I didn't think you would take it. Though now it's impossible to hate it.

I don't have one to give you instead, and I like this tradition. I can stop if it bothers you.

It doesn't bother me at all, though. It actually makes me very happy! And it's a nice reminder of how we really are married now.

Then I'll be happy to keep it.

So, what prompted the girls in cake question?

Somebody brought it up and I didn't understand what they meant.

Girls in cakes is kind of an odd thing to bring up. But at least you know now! Or at least have a general idea.

I think that's all that I need to know, really.

And for your second question... Well, I think you already know about most of my significant relationships here, huh?

I'm very familiar with at least one.

I think you are too. And that you do know at least two of the others.

Did they come to the wedding?

One of them did. Two, if you count the one who was meant to be at the wedding.

They're both good people.

I'm glad you think so! Though I really do owe a lot to one of them. He helped give me a family that I thought I would never get again.

I'm just happy that it's made you happy.

I got what I always wanted, so I think it's impossible for me not to be happy. And I'm glad that you're happy.

Anyway, mine are obvious, but what about yours?
