'After all that has happened' as though this tower's the worst one could experience? I feel one must be quite narrow-minded indeed to take that perspective.

Unless you are new (which I doubt), you will have seen the endless complaining and cries of despair of this tower's resident.

This, for many, is the worst they have and will ever experience.
