A few questions for you.

If someone's existence or action is so reprehensible as to require a form of vengeance, is it then 'right' to act against them? Does one evil act justify another?

Furthermore, does any act justify murder in the name of what's 'right'? (Assume our example is in a place where death actually has normal consequences.)

If this assumed individual has already acted thus before, then it seems reasonable that they managed the consequences fairly well and will do so again.

If this is not a hypothetical question at all, then I suspect the decision is already made, and reassurance that it's the right decision is all that remains.

There seem to be a lot of retributionary sorts lurking about. If one wishes motivation towards bloodshed it seems half the Tower is very suited after all.

I wish I could be of more assistance, but in the end you are your own judge. Your own good and your own evil.

That's why it's good to ask, "Is it worth it?" I hope you find the answer you're looking for.
