Fifth Case [Video and Action]
[The feed opens on a rather young woman, standing with her arms crossed and whip in hand. She doesn’t look very pleased.]
If any of you have an actual explanation for what this place is, or for what reason we’ve come here, please come forward now. I find it difficult to believe that that this ‘tower’, however you fools call it, is not an elaborate ruse created by some fool who is unaware who he’s dealing with.
[Edgeworth can be seen standing right behind her with his arms crossed and a frown on his face.]
Franziska, while I honestly cannot blame you for thinking that I have gone completely insane, I assure you that any answers you get on the network will be exactly the same as mi-[Yep. That comment results in a whip from Franziska - WHICH HURTS DAMMIT.] – IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!
[As Franziska withdraws her whip, Edgeworth grabs his shoulder, wincing in pain. Boy, he is going to feel sorry for Franziska and the many people who will become her whip victims for telling the truth.]
As I said, if anyone can come forward with a less foolish explanation than my brother, please do so now. I will be waiting in the library on the third floor. That is all.
[Both Edgeworth and his rather infuriated sister can be found in the library. Come and join them if you want to
Replies will be: Poster> Franziska > Edgeworth.]
Actioooon
Though probably needless to say, Riku is not impressed.]
Considering that he likely told you the truth, I doubt that any of us 'fools' will be able to produce a more satisfactory answer than your brother.
[Especially since Riku knows that Edgeworth has been around for quite a while already, even though they've interacted maybe only once or twice.]
:D!
[Her arms are still crossed, and she's looking less pleasant than before.]

Ngh.....don't mind her. She's new here, obviously.

As for Franziska, well...]
You are free to believe as you like, of course. I'm sure this place will speak for itself soon enough.
[It becomes increasingly hard to deny the reality of the tower when you get killed and come back again after all. Or get caught up in the administration's machinations. Or just witness a glamor failure.]
no subject
[Her whip's out, and its newest targets are Riku and Edgeworth.]
And I am sure that whatever this 'tower' has to say, it will certainly be more sensical than this gibberish that the both of you insist on.

Action
Hello?
Re: Action
[She's tapping her foot rather impatiently. She doesn't have all day.]
Re: Action
Franziska, perhaps we should talk about this in the cafeteria? You have to e...[Wait, maybe it's not a good idea to mention the oatmeal yet. Otherwise, Franziska probably won't go.]....never mind.
All the action up in here
You're new aren't you? I haven't seen you around. Name's Naoya Toudou.
[But he does know you, Mc.Totally-not-watching-a-sentai-show. You look uncomfortable next to this girl but there's definitely a connection. Relative? Foe? Someone he knows? Regardless, Emperor arcana awaaaaaay.]
He's right, you need to go eat the oatmeal in the cafeteria when you first come here. It's written in the letter.
Re: All the action up in here
[She stands rather still as she gives her introduction, no offer of handshake or other friendly gesture in sight. If anything, Naoya's nonchalance seems to be making her more uneasy.]
I refuse to leave this room until a satisfactory explanation has been found.

action
Marking the pages of her book, Tetra got up from where she was studying and makes her way to the pair. Her hair is loose, dressed a bit more appropriately than she used to (in an attempt to imitate Zelda, honestly) with a short sword at her side and a bandage wrapped around her right hand.]
'Hoy.
[That's a greeting, really it is.]
Are you dumb or something?
Re: action
Are all children where you come from this rude?
Re: action
Franziska, I think you need to sit down. [Because god, Franziska must be frightened and confused now.]
no subject
Nah, I'm one of a kind.
[Tetra stahp.]
Okay no, that was rude. I'm sorry.
[Better.]
You should listen to Mr. Frills there and sit down though. He isn't lyin' about the tower. Lots of us have been here awhile have figured out that the administrators know exactly who they're dealing with.
no subject
[Even though Franziska should be the last person to talk about being rude.]
And where are these 'administrators?'
[They sounded like they needed to have a conversation with her. And her whip.]

action
She nods respectfully at Edgeworth. She remembers him from when she passed on the information about Jason's appearance.]
My name is Xion, and we're both in room 1-01. What do you know already?
[She gets the feeling her words aren't going to go over much better than Edgeworth's, but it's worth a shot.]
Re: action
[She crosses her arms. She certainly wasn't going to mention anything else her brother said.]
Re: action
I have already told her why. However, she refuses to believe a word I have said, understandably.
action
[She turns to Fransizka
It's not that we can't go home. We can, and sometimes do, but we can't choose. It's always unexpected. Sometimes you'll only be here for a day or two. I've been here nearly two years.
And what you find back home is bad. I haven't ever been there myself since I got here, but I've had friends who have. They'll just vanish.
[She bites her lip]
Do you know about the admins? And the glamour?
[Better to hear about the glamour in particular from a friend rather than be taken by surprise during a glitch]
Re: action
There also seems to be an equally foolish rumor going around that our homes have been "destroyed."
[She starts tapping her foot, not out of impatience, but out of stress.]
Do you mean mysterious group of people who supposedly control this "tower" from the basement?
[She says it almost mockingly, as if a more foolish idea had never been thought of.]
Re: action
action;
Can you do that again? [ Her emotions are.. well, lacking since she looks super blank, but she's actually really enthusiastic about this deep down. Come on, hit him again, total entertainment here. And not even in the schadenfreude kind of sense. ]
Re: action;
And you are?
Re: action;
Oh, phew. Franziska doesn't seem interested in whipping him. FOR A FEW SECONDS, ANYWAY.
Edgeworth relaxes a little but says nothing.]
no subject
[ Just offering her name like that. No last name, no anything other than the name itself. But hey, she answered the question, isn't that what she's supposed to do?
She even points at herself. Like it wouldn't be clear enough. ]
