Hello, Tower. I've been away for a while, so I apologize for that. I'm not here to speak about myself, however.

People come and go here as a fact of life. [ Had this been delivered verbally, this statement would have been entirely matter-of-fact. ]

Rather than dwell on that...

I would like to hear of them. Those who are here, those who aren't. Those who've arrived recently and those who've left.

Whatever you'd like to say.

I have two men to speak of, though only "men" in that they are both male, neither are human. The first is a man I knew on the world I was on before finding my way to this one. He was a delightful companion, warm and friendly, and ever playful. It was for him that I fought there, and he is still the first of the reasons I fight here.

The other is a man who is here. Perhaps you have seen him, he dresses all in black. He has been there to help me for as long as I can remember. His sense of humor requires some acclimation, but he is a good person, and I would certainly have gone mad long ago without him. I couldn't bear to part with him.

I count myself lucky to have such wonderful people in my life, and I will do all I can to keep them in it.

And you'd fight on for both of them still if they were removed from your life, correct?

Regardless, I am glad to hear of this, I think. It does mean that despite the way of things here, people still... well. Maybe it's in fact because of the way of things here, but if people can still have such conviction then perhaps we will see things happen eventually.

Exactly. We all have something to fight for, even if it is only our safety from Ruana.

I do not doubt this fact will see us through.
