[Here is a terrified blonde man, charging through the halls! He starts on the first floor, as that's where he was, but will move up to the others if Amelia has wandered to them for some reason.]

[Amelia is on the first floor, so it shouldn't take him very long to find her, still sitting at the terminal. She looks up when she hears him coming.

There's no obvious signs of injury, but she looks a bit shell-shocked.]

A-Amelia?

[He jogs towards her, looking understandably panicked. Moreso than usual, anyway.]

--W-W-What h-happened? W-What's w-wrong?

I don't know. [She screws her face up.] I went down to the carnival, but it was all creepy. And then someone grabbed me and... strapped me down on this table, and I think they were about to cut my wings off. But then I woke up.

[bashfulshifter]

...Oh. [Do you need a hug? Rick might be trying to give you a hug.] I-I-I'm s-so sorry that h-happened...I'm g-glad you're n-not hurt.

[ladyliberty]

[She will accept hugs.]

But that's the thing! When I woke up I was back at the carnival but my clothes were really gone. [Maybe not the best phrasing.]

They were up here on my bed. It's really freaky! I wasn't really cut up or anything but something happened.

[...Not even going to ask if she had to walk up here without any clothes on, because that sounds traumatizing enough without having to bring it up soon after it happened. He does, however, pass her a very concerned glance.]

...A-Are you s-s-sure y-you're okay?

[Well, she had a hospital gown. But she's less concerned about partial nudity than about the whole vivisection thing.]

[...No, he's not completely convinced. Have another hug.]

...K-Kind...? [Rick blinks in slight confusion, gaping and gesturing for a few moments as he gathers the right words.] Ah...w-well I...s-s-saw s-some p-people t-t-talking...V-Veronica h-heard someone...w-was p-picked up and d-d-dropped...

Were they really just visions?

[Rick opens his mouth, pauses and frowns.]

...I...I-I think so? [A beat.] --I-I-I m-mean--they a-aren't like the, uh--r-r-radiation v-visions, but--R-Ruana m-makes you s-see things, t-too. This...f-f-feels m-more like s-something she w-would do.

Did you hear what the people were talking about?

The people I saw were talking about... subjects.

[Rick nods pensively.]

...M-Mine m-mentioned t-t-two. They w-were...b-bonded, s-s-somehow, and...th--they w-wanted to s-split them, but it w-was d-d-dangerous. I, uh...I think they d-did a-anyways.

They said I was a subject. But they'd never seen one with extra appendages before.

[That is...much more interactive than he thought. So far the visions have only been images of past memories, or so they seemed, not...hallucinations. Unless...Ruana really is involved, here.]
