Assumptions lead to the downfall of nations. It's best not to. What harm could trying have done? People making petulant "Oh, that doesn't work" comments? Trying something is the best way to get results.
I don't think it's up to luck. Mood, perhaps, or whim.
Ah, yes, shelving one's ego is difficult for many. A pity.
Well, now you know next time you have some petty grievances you desire answers for. Of course, I suppose it depends on who you are attempting to draw the attention of and if they're in the mood to deal with our kind.
I'm not too worried. I don't think there's a way to lose in the end.
I'll keep the petty things to a minimum. I doubt they'd keep responding to someone who called for them the way a bratty child does, anyway. Save it for something worth the trouble.
And that's a lesson you'll have to learn for yourself - there's always a way to lose. The administrators are good at finding them. I wouldn't wish you luck if I didn't think you needed it.
Some gratitude for my juvenile antics then, unless being an ingrate is also one of your key attributes. Otherwise next time this predator won't be so kind.
Hardly. I merely felt it would be easier to see if I typed it multiple times and in a variety of styles. The one with many big spaces didn't work out properly, though, I am saddened.
I'm not entirely certain. I suppose it simply determines that one space is sufficient regardless of how many you intend. There may be other ways to make text display that bear looking into.
The options allow one to change size and color, but I've seen text with backgrounds before, and I don't know how they did it, though I've no desire to do so. It was rather garish.

Then I'll take your luck, and tuck it in my pocket with my mittens and juice money.
Re: text;
No shame in scavenging if it keeps you alive. Or gets you the answers you're looking for, in this case.

[Someone doesn't show gratitude much, at least not with words.]
I don't put much measure in words, but I'll find a way to get you something, assuming you don't mind kite-food.
[What's a jackal, even, he doesn't have those on his planet.]
