[She leaves the message open for a while, waiting to see if he'll reply.]

[And then Veronica gets mad, and Ira laughs at her.]

I am! J-Jason w-was like a g-god, and I s-still m-managed to hurt him. And I-I've killed a ton of p-people before!

[Because he's an ignorant potato--is probably the best way to answer that. Not that Ira would appreciate the humor at his expense, because he's a giant hypocrite. Still, the talk about Veronica having murdered before gets his surprised attention.]

Really? I thought you said you were all about helping people.

[Well, at least it got him to stop laughing.]

[Ira makes a face, but he does seem to consider this.]

Huh... I think I get it. Basically, you just take out the people you don't like for the people you do like, right?
