So are we just not going to talk about the fact that this place is suddenly a lot less dangerous?

It does feel a lot less dangerous. I barely see any monsters anymore. Not even on the bad floors.

... Though if there was a way to take people with me, or open up some kind of travel between worlds, I'd like that.

[He had thought about it after seeing his brother and Grainne. Keeping matters of love ambiguous just hurt everyone involved.]

Well, there's worse people than Diarmuid you could end up with.

So if you wind up in someone else's world, what's the plan?

Well Romeo's world is... a lot behind mine. And I guess I'd have to learn Italian. But I'd try to help him... school wouldn't be as big of a problem but I'd still want to do what I could to help younger kids.

I don't know much about Diarmuid's world... I guess it's pretty modern, so I'd still try to go back to school and become a lawyer.

I think I already know how mine will go.

[His first impulse is to ask her to the secret floor, but he's pretty sure that Zelda would kill him if they taught the retrieval units anything unsavory during their conversation.]

[...That's a bit odd, but whatever.] I know. The lack of monsters makes the tower safer at least.

My good end is... just seeing everyone get out of here safely and happily. Maybe finding a way to reconnect with my girlfriend wherever she ends up.

If there was a possibility to travel between other worlds, I would like that. I'd want to visit my friends again.

Italian isn't hard- pretty straightforward phonetically in my opinion.
