[The feed switches on to a blonde, hair snapped back in a ponytail, wearing a Union Jack plastered across her chest and looking less than amused. It's been about an hour since Rose woke up here. She read the letters twice, gave the place a precursory glance, and was unsuccessful at finding a way out.

She furrows her brow as she addresses the camera.]

Right, think I figured this thing out. Nice to run into a computer with a webcam, finally. Could've saved me some trouble a few hours ago, but never mind that.

My name's Rose, Rose Tyler, and I'm from... well, two different Earths, really, it's a long story. It said my home world was destroyed- except it can't have been. We were right it he middle of saving it, actually, and putting it back where it belonged. Did... something happen? And for that matter, which world was it? Because- like I said, two of 'em, and one of them happens to have my family on it- my dad, my brother.

[She points at the camera] And If anything happened to my mum...

She was with me, actually, and the Doctor, and most of my friends. Has any body seen them? They're... well, hang on-

[She bends over and digs around a second, before tugging a pair of photos out of an album. She holds them up in front of the camera.]

That's my mum, my dad, my brother Tony. And this skinny bloke here, with the hair is the Doctor.

Any word on that, or any of this, I'd really appreciate it, mate.

[She tugs the photos back and flashes a wary smile.] Thanks.

I... Recall a fellow calling himself 'the Doctor' being here, but it would seem he has disappeared. He did not look like that, though.

[She frowned.] A while ago? D'you know how long? [Actually, back that up a second.] Wait- he looked different? What'd he look like?

Mmmnn. Perhaps a month...or some time close to it. I've not been so good at perceiving time lately. Recent events pushed timekeeping to the backburner. I apologize that I cannot recall it with more clarity - perhaps someone else can.

He was reasonably well-dressed. He seemed to have a fascination with hats and bowties.

A month? But I've-- [She lowered her eyes, frowning at something off camera for a moment before her attention returned.]

Bow....ties? That's... definitely weird. He hasn't-- he's regenerated again, he must've... But how? Unless...

[She shook her head. She probably wasn't making any sense, and it was a bit rude to this... alien bloke.]

Hullo, Fawkes. You can just call me Rose, if you like. What species are you, by the way? Not one I've seen before.

[Indeed, she does not make much sense to Fawkes.] I am unsure of the things you suggest - perhaps someone else here knew him a bit better and thus could give you more information. I again apologize for my lack of concrete knowledge.

[He nods at her suggestion of name use.] Very well then, Rose. I am a meta-human - once human, mutated into this form by a virus.

That's alright, you've already answered a few of my questions. Some of 'em I didn't even know I had. If you see him around anywhere, tell him I'm looking, yeah?

[She frowned gently, looking empathetic.] A virus. I'm sorry. Must've been hard.

[Fawkes nods, and he might actually be smiling with that face of his.] I shall tell him if I see him.

[He nods again.] Indeed it was.

[She's just going to assume it's a smile, and not an 'I'm probably going to eat you' face, because he's been nice enough.] Thanks.

Right, well I think I'm going to do what I do best- wander off and get into trouble. I'll see you around, right? You're here in the tower as well?

[It's the best he can do - apparently becoming a 'master race' mutant means losing one's lips. He nods once more.] You are quite welcome, Rose.

[He grunts a bit.] I am indeed a fellow resident of this tower. Do be careful, though.
