Recently it's been boring. Like, I'm so glad all the creepy stuff is gone and over with but I still miss normal city life or at least going to see family now and again.

Would anyone like a make-over? There's a few who are kind of in desperate need of it. [CoughcoughVietnamcoughcough.] But I'd sure love to be able to primp someone up nicely.

Clearing her throat, she braves the slight fear that still lingers.]

[He makes a grunting noise of acknowledgement.] I am not in pain, no.

Really? [Straightens up and looks at least a bit relieved.]

Mm! I'm glad to hear that then.

[It's probably for the best that he does not tell her of the pain that came about when he got this way, though, so he nods.] It is an unfortunate appearance, but it is not painful.

Exposure to a mutagenic virus is what caused me to become this way.

Whoa...just like a video game from the sounds of it.

And it really doesn't hurt? Your skin looks like it would be...I dunno- sensitive to anything that touched it. Like when you pull a bit of skin too much off of your finger tips and everything kind of has a harsh turn to it cause that underlayer's never had to touch anything before.

[There's a noise of slight amusement.]

It does not now, no. My skin now is quite thick and durable. Shortly after the mutation, however, it was much as you described it. That part was very painful.
