[There's a video feed showing a very unsettled Lina. And she obviously does not like being unsettled like this, and it's a few moments before she can speak.]

...what...what the hell was all that? What kind of sick, twisted place have I been brought to?

I want to get my hands on who-ever's responsible for this. I have a number of...words...for them.

You and pretty much everyone else in the tower. Trust me. Whoever's responsible is going to wish they were here instead of us once everyone's through with them.

If that's so, there probably won't be anything left of them.

Anyone calling that...thing a game needs their head examined to say the least.

[There's some hostility in that sentence, though - mostly toward the people who were running this. The more she dwells on it, the more her temper's starting to kick up.]

[Romeo looks grim and angry, because the bad people make him very mad!] It's what the bad people do. They leave us alone for a little while and then do horrible things because they think they are fun.

I don't know! We can't find them! But when we do they will be sorry!

Well we know there is four of them. Or maybe more and they are really bad. And all the people with red collars and clear collars work for them and are also bad.

Four ringleaders that can't be found, and a bunch of lackeys... I've dealt with worse odds.

[He liked that type of attitude!] You're right, there's nothing we can't do if we try really hard!

Sadly, this is a monthly occurrence my dear. I wish that I could say it gets better but...

[For his part, he does seem to regret that he has to be the bearer of bad news, especially to someone who is in shock. And maybe, really, he attempts to soften the blow:]

We are all in this together, though. You will find support if you seek it.

The only support I trust isn't here, though.

[Okay, that hurts a lot to admit. Time to look away from the screen, and try to pass it off as being huffy.]

It may not look it, but-- that may just be a blessing. I do not believe our homes were ever devastated, and even so, I would rather be there than here.

[The Frenchman shrugged, tapping a finger against the tabletop.]

[Lina's gaze stays away, but her shoulders sink a little as he points that out.]

...yeah, they're better off not here. [She swallows, then draws a heavy breath and sighs before forcing herself to look back at the screen.]

I'm Lina Inverse.

[Poor kid. Nina hates seeing someone so young look like that.]

We don't know yet. But we'll find out.

[It's the most reassurance or explanation she can give right now.]

Yeah...

[Lina doesn't look very convinced, though. She'd make a boast about finding them herself and giving them what for, but maybe once the being rattled by what happened wears off.]
