It's just totally different. Friends are always platonic, and when they aren't platonic anymore, it's a big problem. Besides, I think you got the wrong impression about the "friendship disease". If you think there's never jealousy over friend-cheating, you are oh so wrong. Just because we don't slap 'em and declare one person our moirail doesn't mean we don't feel like they are. We just don't use that word.
