CONFUSION! Just How Many Lookalikes ARE There?! [Video]

[The video flicks on to a very perplexed-looking Lina with folded arms and a crossed leg, relaxing in her chair.]

So...uh.

People in charge, or people who've been here a while, I guess - is this some kind of person-copy-making place? 'Cause I keep seeing a bunch of guys that look like Link, and either I keep runnin' into the same blue-eyed and fuzzy-headed kid in different clothes, or there's more than one of him runnin' around.

[She pauses, then leans forward, giving the camera the stinkeye.]

So whoever's in charge - if you are makin' copies of people, don't copy me! Someone already tried that at home, twice, and it didn't go very well either time!

[The fact that her and the others kind of violently tampered with the equipment causing the copies to fail and the building to collapse goes unmentioned - nor the fact that the other was a polar opposite weepy pacifist made by a magic mirror.]

There's definitely more than one. I think it has to do with alternate universes. I know there's at least two other guys who look like me and there are at least three people that look like one of my friends.

Yeah, I can't see how making a copy of you would ever go over well.

[Ken himself hasn't been here for very long but he's been keeping tabs on the people he sees.]

If alternate universes can exist, what need would they have of creating another copy when they could just take it from its own universe?

They're not copies.

They're people from similar timelines who were also taken here. Same person, but their life is likely entirely different. So, if they 'did' take another version of you from somewhere, she might be someone entirely different from you. There's no real copying involved.

[ Trust him, Lina. He knows. ]

[Well hey there, Lina; those are some big, green eyes filling up the screen for a moment. He heard someone say his name, after all!!
But oh, he's pulling back now, smiling into the feed.]

We're not copies! All of those Links are related!
They're all ancestors and stuff of each other.

I'm not actually related to any of them, but I'm still Link just like they are!

Heroes from our world are always named that, and there's always a Hero when there's someone being evil!

I've been wondering that for a while now.

[Lina pauses, thinking over what Ven said.]

...alternate universes. I guess that makes sense with all this 'multiple worlds' stuff.

It's still weird, though.

Hmph - that'd just mean I'd have to split any loot I find, and I'm not having that!

That makes sense, at least now that I know about that 'alternate universes' thing.

[She's not taking too well to getting egg on her face - but at least she's not mad about it. ~~Yet.~~]

You're telling me. One of my alternates is even my roommate. Everyone always mistakes us for each other no matter where we are.

It's alright. I know the concept isn't known to everyone, and I'm sure people would realize you're not aware that it can happen here.

It's pretty blood confusing, if you ask me.

Well, then, think of it this way: they're people who happen to share your name and look similar. ... I know someone from a different universe to mine that's supposedly my 'double,' but we're very different, and we were both kidnapped to this place.

If we hand been copied, I'd think that would have happened IN the Tower.

Same here, but looks like it's mostly sorted out from what these other people said. Alternate worlds and being taken from different times...

Still weird, though.

It's not that bad. [Said with an awkward chuckle.] As long as yours doesn't turn out to be evil or something, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Yeah, but at least it isn't as weird as the dream I had couple of nights ago where we were all Sephiroth clones programmed with memories.

Yeah, I know the feeling. [Said with a chuckle.] Although he didn't really act opposite, just kind of lazier. Then again, he's not my evil twin, so I guess it doesn't count.
