[Pause here, then he shakes his head.]

[ Well, he guess he shouldn't tell the Turk about how they tried to get wasted together and ended up getting kicked out of the bar by Tifa. ]

[The turk headed down to the cafeteria, taking the shortest way he knew how. As long as he was here, might as well grab some of those awful nutrient bars and settle down.]

[ He wasn't use to the place still, so it took Cloud a little bit of time before he managed to find the lounge. So here is Cloud, looking a little confused - which is normal - dressed in his normal gear and a small heavy sword strapped to his back in a harness that looked like it could carry a lot more weapons. ]

[Reno just watched the kid, noting all the differences. Two years seemed to make a lot of difference sometimes.]

[ He nodded and walked over to Reno, taking a seat near by, although he seemed a little uncomfortable at the moment. It didn't help that he was still expecting to wake up from another delusion. ]

All right, so I'm here. What do you want to talk about?

I want to know more about this place. At least, what you can tell me about monsters and people to watch out for. I can answer some questions for you. If you want.

[midgarhorizon]

No need for that, I don't really want to know what happens.

[He clears his throat, sitting back and folding his arms.]

Monsters here are tricky. They're everywhere except on the dorm floors. Even a shadow could be a monster so don't go sticking your hand in dark corners. They usually come out at night so unless you want a fight be in your room before then.

People are harder to pinpoint. Most seem to just want to get out, but there's a few...

[Trailing off, he wonders how much he can tell Cloud. By all rights, Cloud would be considered one of the 'good guys' by the alliance.]

There's a few you don't want to mess with. Just don't talk to them and you'll be fine. Not that I think you couldn't handle yourself.

...but you might and to talk to a man named Gandalf.

People are still trying to destroy things despite where we are?

[ That doesn't make sense, but he nods anyways. Reno probably knew which ones to avoid but also had his own agendas with them. He can understand that. ]

[Shrugging, the turk tried to look disinterested.] I wouldn't say that, more like planning things for when they get back home.


He's tall, white haired, carries a staff, has a pretty impressive beard.

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks the world getting destroyed is a cop-out...

[ Nods to show that he heard and will look into it. ] Are you buying this deal?

[midgarhorizon]

[There's a long silence before Reno answers him. There had been too many things here, things supposed to be impossible and weren't.]

You know, Cloud, I'll be honest with you. I don't know anymore.

[atouchofstrife]

You don't..?

[ Cloud frowned, looking down at the floor. ] I'm not sure if I can handle that.

[midgarhorizon]

Don't go all funny on me again.

[atouchofstrife]

Why would I go funny on you?

[midgarhorizon]

Well, you got to admit, you were pretty weird in the church.

[Referring to back when they met for real. It wasn't until later Reno learned that Cloud had been Zack's friend.

Maybe that was why he had let them go on the top of Da Chao.]

[midgarhorizon]

I don't want to be your enemy. I understand there are some differences of opinions. [ ShinRa is still a sore subject, as are a few other things. ] But I don't think that fighting each other will be useful in the long run.

[midgarhorizon]

I have no interest in fighting.

[It was a blunt, flat statement. After his last meeting with Cloud in the Sector 8 train tunnels, he had sworn it was going to be different for the Turks after that. At the time he still hadn't known Tseng was alive, but that didn't change anything for Reno.]

I'm over it all. No planet, no reason, no point.

[ Well. That was easier than he had thought it was going to be. Cloud, rubbed the back of his head and nodded. ]
