Hello, tower.
Due to the recent blind date sign ups, there's been some confusion as to what a 'date' really is.
[We are looking at you, Keyderps- also a few others friendly anon knows...]
It's described as: "Two people getting together for an activity when the possibility of romance between them has been broached but not ruled out. Since the exploration of romance is the purpose of a date, merely asking someone out on a date is sufficient to broach the subject. Dates may or not continue once a couple have entered into a romantic relationship. The word "date" may be used to identify a get together between two people not romantically involved, but this usage is meant to convey irony, since such a meeting is not a date in the true sense of the word."
tl;dr: Dressing up and going out with a boy or girl, depending on preferences. Usually romantic, but can be as simple as going out for coffee or ice cream with someone you consider as more than a friend or best friend.
...Does anyone need a definition for "romance" next?

I am well; a friend proficient in healing is here, and she was able to cure me.
I could tell that much, though I did not know what it was they meant, but it truly is an odd thought, isn't it? I find it difficult to even begin to imagine it as the fruit.
