Nigredo and I have been discussing having a quick response team, and I apologize if anything like this already exists and I simply haven't run across it.

The main problem with responding quickly to any problem is that there are few methods of quick communication. For that reason, if anyone can make working cell phones, has telepathy, or any further method of communication across floors, please contact me. In the meantime, I'll make do.

This is Lilim. [The girl waves.] She'll be staying every day on floor fourteen, the media room, which is as close to the middle of the tower as I could convince her would be interesting to stay in. If you or anyone else need defense for any reason at any time during the day, please contact her. She'll get me from where I am. If you need the media room for normal reasons, feel free to kick her off the game console. [She pouts.]

Unfortunately I can't leave her alone at night with the monsters out and about. In that case, my room is 2-04. Please fetch me, and my roommates will have to deal.

How about the research library?

[Aleph is indeed waiting at one of the tables, having taken his arm terminal off and set it in front of him.]

[April arrives on time, giving him a small wave as she approaches.] Hi, Aleph.

[He waves back.] Nice to see you.

Um, nice to see you too. [She takes a seat across from him at the table and peers at the arm terminal.] ... Does your arm terminal do anything else besides store your demons?

It stores data on species and spells, as well as mapping areas.

Well, the mapping thing would be useful on the maze floor... You said it can store data about species, does this only apply to demons?

It could apply to other things.

So then do you think it could store details about the monsters here? Since I haven't found out anything about people keeping details about them, and it could be helpful.

I could do that, but I'm not sure how I would broadcast those to other people.

I would be able to transmit the data from your terminal to the network, though I'm not sure if I would be able to store the data onto the network, and plus I don't trust it. Though I may just analyze the data and write up a list.

The list could work... I could easily post that every so often.

I'll be sure to. I have no doubts I'll run into a monster whether I want to or not.

Pretty much. Most of the monsters I've run into so far weren't too difficult to face, though I wouldn't be surprised if stronger ones were lurking about.

I've been avoiding most by staying in my room at night and not going onto the dangerous floors, but now that I've agreed to help out, that will change.

[April pauses in her examination and still glowing eyes glance up at him.] ... You don't have to help with this, y'know. If you would prefer, I could do the list without needing to use your arm terminal

Of course I'm going to help out.

[He looks confused at why she even brought it up.]

[April frowns and shakes her head.] You don't have to if you don't want to, since you did say you avoided going out out of your room at night.
