So, say you have a family member that locked you in a basement to hide you from someone. How weird is that really? Especially when it didn't work.

I was locked in a basement by my family, but it is weird. It isn't right. I don't think it's ever right to lock someone in a basement.

It's all right. I'm sure it was a very different situation.

I know that some people might think that locking someone up is a good way to protect them, but it isn't. It only hurts people, especially if it's done against their will.

He shouldn't have done that, even if he was trying to help. There must have been a better way. I'm sorry that happened.

I would say that it was a little strange, but not that odd. After all, that's been done in stories before when people were trying to hide. However..I would say that it was only right if the person that was locked up agreed to it. If they didn't, then that's just plain kidnapping.

It would be terrible for everyone if it didn't work though.

I'm glad to hear that..but I'm sorry to hear that hiding out in the basement didn't work out. Usually it's best to be on the run when you're trying to hide from someone though, for future reference.
