Ahh, it is working? I was afraid this worked differently than the one I'm used to. 

[She folds her hands in her lap, but awkwardly--because her left hand keeps twitching uncontrollably. If you study her for longer than a few seconds, you'll notice it's for a reason. Her entire left arm, as well as the left half of her face is horribly scarred, with a lightning-like pattern on the skin itself. Her left eye is partially closed, and overall the left side of her seems awkward.]

My name is Madoka Kaname. If anyone here is familiar with a place called the Facility, please contact me.  [she pauses, looking a bit unsure.]

I guess...maybe it's good it was destroyed, if our worlds are all really gone, now. I hope everyone was able to get out safely, and those who weren't...

[A longer pause.]

They're in a better place, now.

"The Facility"? Can't say I've heard of it.

Though to be honest with you, I don't think that our worlds have actually been destroyed. I think they're just telling us that to keep us compliant.

What do you mean? You don't remember it...?

[Headtilt.]

And...you look a little different...

[Can't quite tell over the feed but she's got a sneaking suspicion.]

I'm sorry, have we met?

[She furrows her brows, and crosses her arms, which pushes up her breasts just enough to probably help Madoka notice why she looks a little different.]

I'm afraid I don't remember you anymore than the Facility, but... You clearly know me, so the problem must be on my end. Nice to meet you again, dear. [Keywords.]

No, it's okay. Um, it's happened before. People disappearing from the Facility and coming back without memories, so..

[Madoka, get ready to have your mind blown.] Ah, actually. Was the Doctor Stein you knew male? He and I are from alternate versions of our universe and his seemed to have everyone's gender reversed from what I heard, and it seems that me as male seems to be the more popular universe. [She turns her screw, eyes narrowing as she thinks.]

[She hesitates, wondering if admitting it would just be better than trying to be polite and prolonging a lie.]

Yes, he was. [A headtilt.]

[madscientits]

...Was he sane when you met him by any chance? [There's an almost pathetic hopefulness in her voice at that.]

[heartfeltfancy]

Sane...? I don't know what you mean by that, sorry.

[And she genuinely doesn't. There's no hint of fibbing in her voice.]

Um... [She doesn't entirely want to recall this, but given the slight possibility that he might be safe somewhere, she's more willing.] When he was here, he was prone to unhinged laughter, and violent outbursts. If he was more like me than... That, he was probably sane.

Oh! [A little sheepish laugh.] He was fine, yes. I don't remember him doing anything like that.

[madscientits]

[She'll match that sheepish laugh with a sheepish smile] I'm certainly glad for that.

I hope meeting me as a woman isn't too strange for you, though. I've met some others from my universe that happen to be the opposite gender than I'm used to and it was initially a bit of a shock.

[heartfeltfancy]

[she thinks about how it would be to meet a male Sayaka...and looks a bit disturbed. However, she shakes it off and quickly picks back up her cheery smile.]

Ah, no, I'll get used to it quickly enough. I apologize I acted rudely.

[madscientits]

Don't even worry about it. You were hardly rude, especially given the circumstances.

But of course. I doubt I'd be nearly as effective a teacher if I didn't. Do you have a question about souls, Madoka?

[She hesitates. She hoped it wouldn't turn out the same way as it did in the Facility, but...]
