I know a lot of you have noticed the unconscious people... so I'm not going to talk about that right now. Though it is worrying, and if anyone has any information about why it's happened, please tell me.

[It's obvious the boy isn't in highest spirits. He looks completely drained, and he's not even bothering to fake a smile. There's also a pause before he speaks up again, his voice a bit quiet and he's not looking at the screen anymore. It's as if he's scared to speak...] This message wasn't for the purpose of discussing the unconscious though...

It's been a few days, but I'm still bothered and I'm sure a lot of you are still upset too... So I would like to apologize for... bringing up what I brought up during the recent meeting. I feel as though the purpose of that meeting was a bit ruined and derailed and it's my fault.... so... [He steps back from the screen and bows deeply.]

I'm sorry.

[ Guess who is replying? Probably the one person who shouldn't have replied to that post. ]

[ He looks pretty neutral and speaks calmly. ]

Did you bring a topic that wasn't unanimously agreed upon? There is no crime in that.

[He's quiet for a moment, mulling over if he should talk to Ganon about this. He didn't very well recognize the man... but he didn't seem all too threatening...

He shifts a bit and nods quietly.]

I did... and I think I might have angered just about everyone by what I brought up.

[ Amalia smiles encouragingly at him. ]

I don't know what you might have done, but if you're genuine in your apology then I'm sure people will forgive you.

Sure...

[And after a little while, he walks into the Aquarium floor and walks up to Fef with his hands in his pockets.]

Yo, Feferi.

....yeah. [He will offer a small smile back but he doesn't look reassured]

I don't think we've met before... my name is Kidou Yuuto.

Mm, I'm new here so I haven't met very many people yet! My name is Amalia Sheran Sharm.

[The reason she'd picked this place? Being up here with the fish helps calm Feferi's nerves. When Kidou finds her, he'll see Feferi playing with a cuttlefish, letting it suck at her fingertips a bit. She smiles when she sees him, bringing her hand out of the water and gently shaking it dry.]

Hey there. Are you holding up all right?

[She motions for him to come over where she is.]

I hope you don't think I was completely attacking you, because it wasn't my intent at all. But I also know the history of one of those villains.

...I know it because she's my ancestor, and because I was expected to memorize her actions so I could repeat them the day I took my own place on that throne.

Instead, I took them as examples of things I would never, ever do.

No, I don't think you were attacking me at all. [He walks over and stops a few feet away and listens, taking a small moment before talking.]

...so your ancestor isn't the greatest of people? [And did she say throne? Does that mean she's royalty?]

It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry that you had to arrive at such a bad time, with so many people rendered unconscious.....

My ancestor...she's here, in this place. She looks like a much older, much taller, much more imposing version of me. But we couldn't be more different if we tried. For one, she only uses a title: Her Imperious Condescension, The Condesce, the Empress of the Alternian Empire.

She's a tyrant. She cares only for her own conquests and her own power. And her favorite way of getting that power is by accepting truces from others, then exploiting them for her own gain. She's only pleased when the ones who proposed the truce are crushed under the heel of her boot, the people either dead or in her service.

I vowed never to be that kind of ruler if I ascended to the throne. I want to be the kind who does right by the people. I want to be the kind that listens to them, helps and protects them, and makes sure that they have the chance to pursue the things that make them happy.

I don't want anyone to treat me like a prissy little princess. That's the last thing I want! But if I can use whatever power that role gives me to help protect you and the rest of my friends, then I feel like I have to.

[And this time he's quiet for a good few minutes, his eyebrows furrowed.]

...I see. [He lets out a long sigh.] To tell you the truth, I've seen her before.... during the labyrinth event a while back...I never thought that she was related to you, of all people.

I'll be honest, I haven't heard anyone talking about good times here.

If they're angered by a topic proposed by a young man they invited...

[ A shake of his head. ]

Most importantly, never be sorry. This is a sign of weakness.

[ A bit of advises can't hurt. Still calm, that's interesting... Kidou defended his idea with energy on the meeting. In spite of his apologizes, Ganondorf is pretty convinced he's not changed his mind on what should be done. ]

And may I ask what it is you brought up?

There haven't been a lot of "good times" here... but usually the friends you meet make up for how terrible this place can be.

...I suggested that we had a truce with the villains in the tower... because we're all fighting the same enemy, so why shouldn't we work together?

Is it what you suggested? How ironical.

[ A short laugh. ]

I am not surprised the Princess and her followers massively rejected your idea. She is a woman of great talent with an immense potential and she is certainly one of the few who could organize this tower's people, but she has always had difficulties accepting opinion differing too much from hers.

It's not just the Princess though. Where she was against my idea, there were a lot of people who detested it just as much, if not more then she did...

Of course they did. Calling someone "evil" is an easy excuse for them to ignore a problem. When someone commit an act you disapprove of, you may ask yourself why they committed that act and then judge whether it was justified or not.

Or you can call them evil and you don't even have to think. You only have to antagonize them and worsen the problem.

[There's a pause as he thinks about that. And hesitantly, he nods in agreement.] ...just because they are known as "evil" doesn't necessarily mean they're a bad person. [He knows this from personal experience]

Indeed. But the Princess and many amongst those you have seen are prisoner of their own resentment. Even here in the tower, they refuse to face the possibility that their enemies weren't evil, but simply people like them doing what they believe is right.

If it weren't for that little default, the Princess would truly be able to lead the people of this tower to victory... Alas. I believe our administrators have nothing to fear from us and will continue their games and experiments for a very long time.

[He sighs] I think the reason why they hold such resentment is because they have experienced betrayal from villains before but....

I believe that under the circumstances we're facing, the villains wouldn't betray us. And we could always prepare ourselves in case they decide to do anything against us. [And he crosses his arms]

If we don't take risks like this, then we aren't going to get anywhere.

In this tower, betrayal would be meaningless. I can understand the concern that war could arise following an eventual success, but this would be a foolish war meant to doom both sides. I believe we all are wise enough for this not to happen.

I'll be honest with you boy. You appear to be mature and reasonable enough to be trusted.

[ Time to play Poker. On one hand, it's risky. On the other hand, if he waits too long to reveal who he truly is, Kidou will feel betrayed and will be suspicious of a manipulation. ]

The Princess has probably mentioned one of her enemy to back-up her arguments, an evil man. This would be me. My crime, of course, is to have tried to save my people.

... Kidou.

[He's quiet for just a moment, his eyes narrowing slightly behind his goggles.]

I have heard about you, but I haven't heard much beyond "a man who cannot be trusted".
