It does. It can just about make you forget what happy even means, even if it's right there. You know, but you just get so glubbing down in the muck that...yeah.

[She's quiet for a minute. It's been too damn long since she's seen most of the crew from back home. She's been trying to keep tabs on new arrivals, but it's a lot to keep track of.]

Yeah. There's one thing that only a clownfish can do. I need a gigantic hug. Can that be a thing?

The fish kelp. Swimming kelps, because it's somefin I did all the time at home. But sometimes even that's not enough. I've been here...cod. It's been almost four months now.

Sometimes those familiar things help, and that's good. Sometimes they hurt, though. They remind me of fronds from home. They remind me of fins I miss. And it gets really hard...

[She manages a smile, then heads on off to her room. A few minutes later, Feferi's pulled her hair back a bit, splashed some cool water on her face so it doesn't look so bad, and gotten her uniform on. She arrives at the meadow a few minutes later, waving lightly and managing another small smile.]
