[April looks both tired and not very happy, and she seems to be suffering from sort of headache, judging by how she's rubbing her forehead with a grimace.]

Apparently portable communication devices are a thing that's impossible to make here. If you can somehow put together the materials to make something simple, making a wireless connection between them is impossible, even with use of powers. I tried and now my head hates me for it.

[A sigh as she rubs her eyes.]

So yeah, to the people who I told this about and stuff, sorry but it's not gonna happen. And on a related note, if anyone wants any sort of tech made, I'll probably be able to help out. So long as it isn't a portable communications device or something like that.

There are so many times that a person can tolerate each attempt without suffering something in the process. Technopaths are nearly useless here.

[It's his way of saying, "what's the point? I tried everything." If he were the sensitive type, or at least the overly emotional, he would have sworn that the tower hates him and those like him.]

I'm not gonna give up yet. There's got to be a crack somewhere. [April is too stubborn to stop, even if she keeps hitting blocks and only gets painful headaches in the end.]

... Y-yeah. I've never really pushed my power this much before, so my head feels like it's going to split.

[Oh boy, does he know that feeling. He managed a few times to form his bubble, but the backlash later was so fierce that he temporarily lost control and put himself in a coma for three days.]

Understood. I have tried, but I think the collars are in connection to our inability to form or create anything using our ability.

And from what I heard, we die if we try to remove them. [She pokes at her collar with a frown.] ... I'm gonna keep trying to find cracks in the network, at least. Our powers must be able to do something here.
