And regarding those that know of the facility or Val, I propose we come together to discuss matters. There appear to be...differences between most of us, and we should all get our facts straight if we are stuck here for the time being.

Good. Then perhaps you might be able to ease others that are less comfortable with the news. There will be those types of people attending, that I am sure.

I've talked to her once...but I realized that she was not the one I knew. [ she mused nodding her head. ]

I tried talking to her, and instead, I let all my emotions pour onto her, forcing everything we knew about her clone. During my dreams, within that experiment, I came to realize something.

She was right in that I didn't understand her. And doing what I did, I caused more harm than I ever thought possible.

[ Ishtar replied with a worried look. ]

...You can always make it up to her somehow?

That's what I hope to do, to apologize and hopefully make up for my actions. As it stands, we cannot just assume anything we know of the Lucy we know, and put it on her. We'll have to try and understand her as well, and that goes without saying.

I was just too emotional to even get that point. Now it'll come down to whether or not she'll forgive me.

[ She nodded her head. ] We have to treat her like we don't know her...or something like that...right?

[ She mused in a small, quiet tone. ]

Maybe, she'll understand and forgive you? Maybe, but it's better to hope.

We can know Lucy, but we also have to try and understand her, not just force everything we know about her on her. It'll take some time, but if enough people show her kindness and a willingness to try and understand her, she will open up in time.

That's what I hope for now at least.

[Things cannot return to the past, not like this, but at the very least, he could make the Lucy here happy, to give meaning to her existence. Clone or real, she deserved that much.]

I don't know her very well, so I wouldn't know how to talk to her. She seemed pretty reserved.

[ No, but they can make for the better future. Ishtar didn't know what Lucy deserved, but she knew everyone needed a moment of happiness one way or another. ]
