[Oh look, it's Legolas' first post on the Network. Ever. Oh sure, he's replied to a few before but this is the first he's using it himself.]

I require some assistance. There is someone I wish to help learn the ways that my people fight however she does not have the weaponry required.

[At this, he draws his blades and holds them up to the screen for a clear view.]

I obviously do not expect the same level of craftsmanship as these but I would like a pair similar for the Lady Zelda. If there's anyone that can assist me, I would appreciate a swift reply.

[So damn flustered. Oh Iluvatar, don't let Zelda see this. He's still getting back on everyone's good side for dying after getting out of the pods.]

Don't be ridiculous, I barely know her. I'm merely concerned for her and offered to teach her our methods of combat should she ever have need to fight.

[ Wicked glee escapes Haldir's lips as he grins almost tauntingly at poor Legolas. Oh, how he hopes the fair princess sees this recording. The look on the younger elf's face is simply priceless. ]

There's no need to be "shy", dear friend. You are the Prince of Mirkwood and she is the Princess of Hyrule. The two of you would make a darling pair, I'm certain of that.

[Where is there a desk for Legolas to slam his face against? Repeatedly. Haldir, you are just... WHY?????]

I'm hardly being shy. If I had come to fancy her, I would court her appropriately.

Never mind that we are from separate worlds, I could not ask her to leave her kingdom to join me in Mirkwood.

[Oh man, Legolas is probably just digging himself a deeper hole.]

[ A fiendish chuckle came from Haldir once he heard those parting words. ]

I blame no one. There is nothing between the princess and I but for having been in the same pod last month and working with the group that she and Gandalf formed here.

[ As soon as he sees the princess replying for this, Haldir decide to make a hasty retreat. It seems that he finally caught Zelda's attention and Her Highness doesn't look very amused with him.

Giving her a curt nod, Haldir makes his much needed exit but not after some rather interesting parting words. ]

T'was never my attention to insult you so, Dearest Lady of Hyrule. While the thought was quite humorous at best, I see now that not even the Son of the Elvenking is worthy enough for someone as fair as yourself. Therefore, please forgive me for my digressions.

[ He mocks a bow before fleeing. ]

[Oh sure, tease Legolas but when Zelda appears you run for the hills. He'll remember that, Haldir. Don't you worry, this won't be forgotten. Maybe he'll convince Gimli to harass Haldir or find some poison ivy to put in your bed or something.]

[Zelda can only sigh and shake her head as the marchwarden flees.]

What a nuisance...

[First Doc telling people Tetra is her and Link's daughter, now this? Goddesses above...]

Try not to feel too cross with him, Lady Zelda. Haldir is a good man, but a bit... impish, it seems. Especially at my expense.

[Don't worry Zelda, Legolas is getting ready to go and find him.]

I can only hope this conversation not inspired such 'impishness' in others.

[Seriously, she got a reputation to uphold now. That said...

And the issue is going to be dealt with appropriately.
