If you can fight you ought to head to the higher floors, if not then the lower ones. I don't recommend waiting for someone to come to you, most people are more than likely in a panic and have a poor sense of direction at the moment.

I thought it best to at least send out some message so that others would be aware should they happen upon the message. Knowing that a rescue it coming, they might calm some and not do anything so reckless.

You know of Haldir? Wonderful! He and I are both elves though not the same kind. I am Sindarin whereas he is Silvan, if I am not mistaken.

I do indeed, he has been most kind to me.

There are species within elves? I had no idea? Are you quite different to one another then?

We're not very different, aside from where we live. He is of Lothlorien and I am from Mirkwood. He's also a terrible worrier.

He does worry a lot, but I suppose I worry equally about him...

[ Legolas probably could tell it was Haldir speaking, especially since the elf would probably be one of the few who truly would admonish Legolas for his heroic deeds. While the Prince of Mirkwood is both a skilled and cunning warrior, Haldir has his reservations about allowing Legolas to wander throughout the tower now. ]

Surely you need the aid of another.

[Oh yes, he can certainly tell. And the younger elf almost feels a tad bit like a child but he straightens himself.]
