[ Seemingly quite distressed despite everything said and done, a weary Haldir appears after several days of pure silence on his part. While many seem quite grateful and thankful for the feast, Haldir seems utterly aloof about it. Many probably would assume he's just being his usual "self" but those who do know him could probably sense his melancholic state. ]

They give us a feast to celebrate, yet I see no reason why we should. Had those fools acted sooner, we could've avoided such needless destruction.

[ He grumbles. ]

Perhaps there's no reason to lament so, yet still...

[ Unsure what to say, Haldir gives up and tries to set his bad mood aside. ]

Tell me, friends, is all well? Alucard, Legolas? I have not heard from many since the travesty first unfolded.

[ A soft sigh escapes him. ]

I must know, what sort of fate has befallen upon The White Wizard? He is another I have not heard from in some days now. The same goes for so many others who I'm certain attempted to be valiant in the face of death.

[ A look of mild intrigue passes through Haldir's solemn gaze before the melancholy he feels take root once more. The scent of death lingers heavily within the tower, nearly sickening the elf. While he truly feels that the Administrators are at fault here, Haldir shan't lie and claim that this woman's words aren't true. ]

[ He brushes his hair back behind his pointed ear. ]

As blind as mere mice, all of them scattered and fled towards the dark once the chaos struck.

[ At her sudden curiosity about the wizard, Haldir arches his brow. ]

He is Gandalf the White, a powerful foe to those who deem themselves the enemies of all that's good.

As one pointed out, they could have left us to fight all by ourselves and die. I wouldn't be so quick to judge them.

[ When he gives a small explanation about Gandalf she remains silent for a while, and then-- ]

... I have briefly spotted someone fitting this description. While we were fighting the monsters. He looked very alarmed and went to the upper floors in a hurry. I didn't see him after that.

[ His heart sank when he heard that last bit about Gandalf. ]

The wizard cast himself towards the upper floors of the tower?

[ A look of pure dread settles in his dark indigo gaze. ]

...This cannot be.

[ She doesn't reply immediately but her voice softens. ]

I am sorry if something happened to him. But you should keep faith if he were your friend.
