[April looks a lot more happier than she did the last time she made a post on the network, though instead she just seems very hesitant about something. And people may notice that she has a Bullfairy being held in her arms for some reason...]

Ah, um... I-I'm just wondering if anyone would be willing to give me combat lessons, m-mainly with sword fighting or just hand-to-hand combat. I promise I will pay you back in some way and... I, um, a-appreciate any help...

[She glances away for a moment, awkwardly clearing her throat, before she remembers something.]

O-oh, and Amalia, I'm still up for giving you those tech lessons if you still want them. And if anyone else would want tech lessons, I would be glad to help. Or, um, if you want any tech made, I can help with that too... Well, when the workshop is repaired.

[There's a slightly pause after that, almost as if she was gonna say something else, but she seems to change her mind.]

[So April will be sitting at one of the desks in floor 3, the Bullfairy now sitting on her shoulder as she waits.]

[ Amalia arrives an hour later as instructed. ]

Thank you again for-- oh! What is that, April?

Hmm? Oh, you means this lil guy? [She reaches up to pat the Bullfairy on the head gently.]

It's one of the creatures you can find in the tower, but it's very harmless and tame. I kinda just decided to adopt one.

It -- he? -- is very cute! Have you thought of a name yet?

[ She thought she'd seen one of these things around the Tower but she couldn't be sure. There had been so much going on lately that the last few weeks were blurring together. ]

I think it's a he. And I've decided to name him Charlie.

[She reaches up to pet the Bullfairy again, who gives a little chirp in reply.]

Hello Charlie, it's very nice to meet you. I'm Amalia.

[ She pets the bullfairy lightly on the top of the head before grinning at April. ]

I should warn you in advance, I wasn't a very good student for my tutors back home...

[The Bullfairy gives a happy chirp at Amalia while April grins back.]

Well, I'll still try my best... Though I've never taught anyone before...

... But anyway, is there anything you would specifically like to learn first, or should I go over general stuff?

I think it would be a good idea to tell me about everything in general first. And then I can tell how much I have yet to learn. I'm afraid it might be a lot... I didn't even know how to work the network posts until someone showed me.

That's alright, let's see... [She 'hmm's to herself.]

I would use books for this, but that would be too boring, so you're sadly stuck listening to my rambles.

So, technology is basically machines and equipment that can do a variety of tasks. They're all powered by electricity, though I've heard of solar or wind power being used, and while some are basically activated with an on and off button and need human users for anything else, some are highly complex and are capable of performing advanced tasks on their own.

The terminals here are an example of tech that requires human users in order to be operated fully... This making any sense so far?

[ Amalia nods. Someone had shown her how to use the network terminals to read other people's messages but she had yet to make one of her own. ]

Is this the way that everyone talks to each other, where you're from?

Yep. And it's a big help when people are far away, since then you're able to talk to them easily.

And we also have small, portable devices called 'phones' that we can use to contact each other from anywhere.

That sounds really convenient! I wonder if that is the normal thing for most people's homes? I've always thought that places like Bonta were very forward, but perhaps not after all...
