[002: Video]
[April looks a lot more happier than she did the last time she made a post on the network, though instead she just seems very hesitant about something. And people may notice that she has a Bullfairy being held in her arms for some reason...]
Ah, um... I-I'm just wondering if anyone would be willing to give me combat lessons, m-mainly with sword fighting or just hand-to-hand combat. I promise I will pay you back in some way and... I, um, a-appreciate any help...
[She glances away for a moment, awkwardly clearing her throat, before she remembers something.]
O-oh, and Amalia, I'm still up for giving you those tech lessons if you still want them. And if anyone else would want tech lessons, I would be glad to help. Or, um, if you want any tech made, I can help with that too... Well, when the workshop is repaired.
[There's a slightly pause after that, almost as if she was gonna say something else, but she seems to change her mind.]

[Following that, he hesitates a little. Time to brace himself for the explanation...]
...England. The country of, that is. [He tries for a light-hearted tone, but it's England and also he's worried, so it comes off a little awkward.] I'm fairly certain you're familiar with it.
[She still smiles, but when he tells her his name, she freezes as her expression slowly becomes shocked.] ... Y-y-y-yeah, England is my h-home, but... Y-you're England?
[And he doesn't sound like he's lying either... And if he's not from her time, then...]
Indeed. The people, the history, the land-- all parts of me, for better or for worse. I've found using the term "personification" is the one of the best ways to explain it to a human, if that helps.
B-but... T-that can't... [But he has no reason to lie about this and it doesn't seem like he's lying and-] W-what year is it, b-b-back home?
It would be 2012 for me. [His expression falls a tad.] ...but I've been here a while. I came here in the August of 2011.
Do you come from a different year?
A-a-around 2300 or so... H-h-home is... I-it's not... [She covers her mouth with her hand and shakes her head. This is probably the first time in the tower where she's truly felt scared.]
But then, he wonders. He's met people here that clearly come from different universes altogether, where things are different. Despite their respective discomfort, he speaks up.]
...your present may not necessarily be my future. [Frankly, if his world back home is gone (and it definitely felt like it was, that time he'd looked through the viewport), there's little chance it could be.] And that aside, I have remained strong through many a trial.
[England falls quiet, and though he's uncomfortable and a tad clumsy about it, his words are sincere.] You needn't be upset on my account. No matter who or what I am in the future-- if you're here, and you still consider yourself a citizen of England, you are one of my people.
I-I... T-thank you... [She swallows again, twisting her hands anxiously.] ... I-I'm working with a group to r-rebuild things back home, s-so I promise things will be better again there. England, y-you, will be back to h-how it was before, I promise.
oh.
Patriotism. That is. That is lovely. He just stares at the screen for a moment, his expression softened slightly. Once he fully parses her words, he offers another smile -- it's small, but less out-of-place.] Thank you, truly.
I'm sure that I am in very capable hands.
[Oddly formal for her, but it's her home country she's talking to and she's nervous.]
[video] omg late tag is so late wheeze
But it matters a lot to hear the sentiment.] I have the utmost faith in you.
[video] nooo never late /pats
Ah, t-thank you! We won't let you down!
There's no need to thank me. It is only fair that I should return the faith that has been put in me.
[thanks for not calling him crazy!!]
