The flow of information through oral transmission is, I'm afraid, the most unreliable way to get information. At best you will get approximation of the truth, at worse you will get false facts and misinterpretations. In either case you lack both the core information and the experience.

In short, you lack what matters most and content yourself with leftovers and convenient truths. It is the way weaklings live and parasites proliferate. At least we can agree on a thing, my perception matters very little. The facts and events are what matter.

What mastermind is without his entourage of underlings? You are simply one such beast, though you fancy yourself something more. As it stands, you are useful in your zeal, and your pride ensures that you will keep getting up regardless of how many times you fall. This parasite is quite content to get fat off of your efforts, to save his energy for an endeavour that is truly worthwhile... rather than a mere takeover attempt.

What mastermind allows himself to become dependent of his underlings? That's a simple cycle. Once you have found comfort in leaving the work in the hands of underling, once you please yourself in mediocrity and easiness, you are only the shadow of what you could have been.

In your personal circle you may feel strong and mighty, but this is only a fantasy brought about by your laziness and fear, a chimera you cultivate to convince yourself that you are right. After all, natural talent is nothing without intensive training. Knowledge is nothing without experience. And this is at the time of the fall that you'll realize you should have been more audacious and less fearful.

Underlings fill in the gaps for when your attention is divided. Perhaps there are bigger goals in mind than to attain than the control of such a place. To monitor that attempt, the attention of an underling is more than suitable. Never mistake a lack of the overt for a lack of action... that is the key to the undoing of the overconfident.

You spin pretty words, but they ultimately have no meaning. You work as most do, attempting to cut down, to divide and conquer, to remove confidence and undermine strength. When you work and act on your own, without these feckless, wasteful attempts to draw others to you to do your work, without those transparent attempts to cast suspicion in order to cause an uproar, then perhaps you can speak of experience and cultivating natural talent and audaciousness. All I see is a man who busies himself with trifles and provides a great deal of amusement for his fumbled attempts at cowing and domination.

This may be one of the few points I could agree on with you. This is true, having underling may come in handy. People to work for you. Alas it becomes a moot point when the underling takes on the traits of the master and doesn't complete his mission. As afraid as the master, the dog runs away when danger presents itself. Dogs are amazing creatures, it be only a shame they need their masters around and that they take upon his traits.

Yet, for one who speaks so much about delegating his work and tasks to underling, I am surprised you fail to see that no matter how one good is, one cannot do everything and mist seek to draw those who can accomplish what he cannot, yet never relinquish the work to them and monitor their every moves.

Curtain call you say. I will then take the occasion to take a look behind the scenes, to see the actors' true nature and find how the tricks are played. In the meantime, take your eases on your comfortable spectator seat in back of the room, next to the exit door you came to cherish so much. From there you do not have the best view on the scene, you can only see the shadows of the other spectators, but at least you will always be the first to leave once a danger- or an opportunity arises.

You speak as if I use minions for all things and am content to sit and rest upon my laurels. This is the conclusion of one who is too quick to judge, who takes what is at face value without looking beneath. A pity... I have quite a good many things under my bailiwick. Even if the surface appears calm, one should never underestimate what lurks below. Your continued assertions to this effect simply paint you as the greater fool for believing one truth to be the overall.

You make one grave mistake with your assumption in this metaphor. I am the stage manager... and you, just like everyone else, are those under the sway of the script. Go on as you intend... or is it what you are intended to do? Who is to truly say?
