[April looks both very cheerful and a bit... woobly when the feed clicks on. And her voice sounds a bit slurred when she speaks, almost as if she was a bit drunk]

Captain Jack, I finished that rum you wanted me to make! I couldn't leave it for years like the recipe said though, but a few days worked! It's in the cafeteria for whenever you want some!

… Oh, and since I made a lot of it, anyone else can help themselves to some of it, if they want! It's been a while since I made alcohol, but it still tastes pretty good.

[Welp, that explains why she's a bit drunk.

But just like she said, there are two large bowls of rum in the cafeteria. April is already drinking through the stuff and the Bullfairy she adopted can be seen wobbling around by her feet and making low, hiccuping sounds, having apparently drank some of the rum too.]

What like ... prison rum?

Prison rum...? [She tilts her head and shrugs.] Well, it tastes like any other rum I've had before.

How'd ya make it?

Let's see... I heated up and dissolved the ingredients together in a pot, added yeast and put it in an airlock for a few days until the mixture stopped bubbling. Then I distilled it, which took a couple of hours.

[April's liver has probably turned to stone or something since she's been drinking for years and years. So in her mind she'll be perfectly fine.]

Since alcohol is really hard to come by back home, we had to make it ourselves most of the time! Though the process was a bit different here, but it still came out well.

And...w-what did you make it out of?

Hmm... It was mainly cause back home it would be okay to leave it to ferment for weeks, but here I don't wanna risk that in case something big happens.

... Mostly old supplies we could find. Though considering there wasn't much of anything left back home, we had to cut down on what we could use. And the water at home isn't safe either. To be honest, the booze I made here is far safer than the stuff we had to make at home.

...w-we had a time like that, back home. Only it was, um, a long time ago, instead of in the future. Where the alcohol was s-safer than the water.
