I am Suzumiya Haruhi, the all-important brigade chief of the one and only SOS Brigade! Of course, the brigade is no longer of any use here, but nonetheless, it's a very important duty to be a brigade chief. After all, being on top of the pyramid makes me a pretty important person, don't you think?

Anyway! I know that a bunch of you are from different worlds, universes, what have you. But... I'm curious! What are your homes like? And if you're an alien, I need to know this information even more, got it? If you withhold any information from the great Suzumiya-sama, I'll be sure to give you a very nice penalty.

Other solar systems? Like what? And why did they leave Earth to begin with?

The two Miltia systems were the most notable examples, as they were very similar to earth, and thus perfect for colonization. There were also several space stations constructed with artificial atmospheres, such as the Kukai Foundation.

Humans unearthed a very dangerous artifact, that resulted in them having to evacuate the planet. Earth has not been seen since. It has been presumed destroyed.

I'm from a world called Destiny Islands. It's...well, it's a chain of islands. Exactly what it sounds like, I guess!

The Kukai Foundation was a Vector-backed organization meant to keep the U-TIC organization - a militant terrorist organization made up of extremist Ormus followers - in check.
