[The feed starts today with Kidou looking very worried. Like the most worried he has ever looked in a long time.]

Good afternoon, this is Kidou Yuuto. I know a few of you are still recovering from the most recent experiment... and I'm sure a lot of you have more important things to worry about but have any of you seen Otonashi Haruna lately? She's a young girl with dark blue hair and grey eyes... she's usually seen in a school uniform and she wears a pair of red glasses on top of her head.

I know everyone was pretty busy last week, probably too busy to notice a little girl... I was a bit caught up in everything myself but I still would have seen her... I'm starting to get really worried.

I checked her room and her bed looks like it hasn't been used in a while.. her trunk was empty too.

If anyone has any idea what might have happened, please tell me.

[And there's a pause as he's a bit hesitant to say this next part]

... She's my little sister, and I really don't want to lose her... [He's pretty sure he has an idea of what happened, but he doesn't want to believe it...]

[He actually seems pretty surprised at that.]

...no, not exactly. I live with my father... and she lives with her parents across town.

Her parents?

[Well he knew the conversation was going to go this way eventually, so to make things a bit more comfortable, he takes a moment to turn on filters.]

Foster parents.

Is your father your foster father?

He is. Our biological parents died when we were both very young, and we were sent to an orphanage... we ended up getting adopted into different families.

I see.

Do you remember them at all, your real parents? What are your adopted parents like?

[He closes his eyes and lets out a small sigh.]

I remember little things, like how they would take Haruna and I to amusement parks and other little events when they were home... but they had jobs overseas, so they were gone a lot of the time. [He opens his eyes and drops his gaze to the keyboard in front of him, his voice getting a bit quiet.]

It's been eight years since they died and we didn't have any photos or videos of our family left afterwards.... So, to be honest...

It's starting to get harder to remember what they even look like. [It's a hard thing to admit, that he was forgetting his parents faces...]

As for my foster family.. it's just my father and I. Mr. Kidou is the CEO of an important company in Japan, the Kidou Financial Group. He's often busy with his work so we don't spend much time together, I was raised by another man for most of the time I lived with Mr. Kidou. The man who recommended me to the Kidou family.

... at least you still remember them... even if it's just a little...

What is this other man like?

His name is Kageyama Reiji, and he's actually here with us in the tower.

He had a... difficult past and it badly reflected on his life. He became obsessed with winning, and therefore taught me that winning was absolutely everything. He taught me that it didn't matter what I did as long as I won, and that "teammates" and "friendships" weren't anything I needed. He's quiet and cold, and very intelligent.

He used to use terrible methods to get what he wanted, like dropping metal bars onto a team of kids to win a game or almost blinding another child by installing a dangerous program inside of him so he could be powerful... he was thrown in jail thrice for his misdeeds.

[He smiles a bit, though.]

But even though he did all those terrible things, he was able to find the good in his heart and change his ways. He's really an outstanding person, now that he's been able to overcome the troubles he was having inside.

I see. [Is it a bad thing that he doesn't really find all those things shocking?]

So you still do have family here, in a way.

Though I haven't really been able to spend much time with Haruna or Kageyama-sousuii since they both arrived here.

Why's that?

The experiments have been taking up a lot of everyone's time... and now Haruna's missing...
