Oh dear, oh dear.

[Hi all, you may or may not recognize the girl making this video. It's Solas, who's shown up before - right now she looks a bit worried, though. Her hair also looks suspiciously...leaf-like, at the moment.

Sola, water you doin'.] I should really keep up with these things more - at any rate, it looks like something big has happened, hasn't it? Between the body switches and...Well, actually, that's why I'm contacting everyone. You see, I am able to...what's the correct term for it...materialize food. I'm quite certain it's nutritious by human standards, though I should warn you in advance that apparently it doesn't taste like what it's supposed to taste like.

I used to provide for an entire city, though it...well, I was linked to the city, and admittedly there weren't quite so many people...so I may not be able to provide everything all the time... [She looks unsure, before shaking her head and setting her face into a determined expression.] Even so, it'll help a bit until the issue of the cafeteria is dealt with, won't it?

I'm assigned to room 2-05 if anyone wants to take me up on that offer, though I tend to stay on the floors with plant life, and oh, my name's Sola by the way.

[After getting her message out, she seems to wind down a little and just...smiles slightly at the camera.]

Type-Venus, or Heaven's Corpse, but I go by V/V. Those other names aren't as nice.

Oh my. [There's a look of concern on her face, and she nods at V/V's statement.] Yes, I can understand not wanting that name, V/V. Though...Type-Venus? Isn't Venus the name of a planet, or a human mythological goddess?

[Why is that a bad thing?]

Uh-huh. That's where I come from, Venus.

Ah. [She furrows her brows for a second, thinking...then she just strugs and laughs it off, a little.]

Well, it really isn't my business, is it? V/V it is then. It's nice to meet others like this who aren't intent on hurting people.

Mmhm! I would never want to hurt the people near me. They're wonderful.

They are, aren't they? [She beams.]

They grow so much so quickly. I've never seen anything like it.

Yes, and they create new things of their own, and they change the world around them...sometimes it's not such a good thing, but other times it is.

They're really important to me now. Even if I can't protect the ones on my world any more, I'll try my best for the ones here.

[She nods in understanding. Similar minds think alike, perhaps?]

That's what I plan to do, too. Even if right now, there isn't much that can be done...the administrators will probably try something again, and we will be there when it happens.

*He hadn't seen her much, either, after that whole Shadow thing. Was she well?*

Yes, I knew, but it seems there was this whole flurry of activity afterward. I was concentrating more on the plants at that time. Shouldn't have done that, huh?

It's becoming autumn, isn't it?

*Oh, Sola, you don't need to maintain the plants here...but it's good she's managed to keep herself occupied.*

It is! And then it'll become winter, where everything's sleeping, and then spring will come.

[She beams at the thought.]

*Oh, that's cute. Enoch chuckles a little.*

You've been maintaining the plants here, too?

Some of them, yes. Most of them don't seem to need it, but...after that mess with the whale, I wanted to help them recover.

[She smiles.] What have you been up to, Enoch?

*...She seemed to have found a place here. Something to occupy her time. A routine. It was better than his aimless wandering. He'd try to get into the habit of working the farmland on that floor from time to time, but it never stuck. He couldn't be anything more than an idle drifter until their hosts or something else caused him to go into action.

So he's hesitant to answer. He doesn't know...*

[The look on her face now is a soft one, kind even.]

[She saw that filter, bro, and now she is a little concerned. Hang on, she is going to drop the human look because it's Enoch - after all they've been through, she doesn't really need to worry about that, right?]

...Hmm...I know this is probably going to sound very obvious, but do you have any hobbies around here? I believe there's a floor that makes for excellent farmland, if you want to take that up. There's also a library, and...you're in a strange new place. Sometimes it takes a while to adjust, sometimes it doesn't, sometimes you never get used to it.

[There's a wry smile on her face.]

Wasn't Meridian very much the same, in that respect?

*Enoch shakes his head.* Meridian was different, very different.

I...I've tried. Even reading leaves me restless.

Mm... [She tilts her head, thinking for a moment.]

Forgive me for prying, but - does this have anything to do with the young man you were rooming with?

[After all, she hasn't found him here, and humans do tend to miss each other, therefore...]

What makes Meridian different from this, you mean?

Aside from the fact that it wasn't - I hope - ruled over by tyrannical sadists...or locked inside a single tower. [She shakes her head a little.] Being locked in really is unpleasant.

[...Ack. Bingo.] I'm sorry. If I'd had any control over the destinations, I would have made sure...but. [She shakes her head again.]

*As much as he wanted to see Armaros again, would he really wish such a place on him...?*
