This is probably weird, but can someone teach me self defense? I don't have any powers. I'm just a normal girl in high school. So I'd really like some help, so that I can at least reasonably defend myself.

[In about ten minutes, because she had to take her skates off to go upstairs and then put them beck on since it's impossible to seperate Tetra from them lately, she'll come rolling down the hall and come to a halt by grabbing onto the nearest doorway. Stopping it hard.]

I went to school, worked a part-time job at a department store and then went home to work at my family's liquor store. I can do hard work.

You'd be surprised how much heavy lifting went into my jobs. But the point I was making is that I'm willing to work hard!

Defense against monsters, or defense against human opponents?

If it is the former, a normal person's best defense is in fleeing. Strengthening the muscles in your legs and your lung capacity would assist in either case. If it is the latter, I would be happy to show you various ways to escape holds and incapacitate an opponent.

I am speaking in terms of physical form, not in terms of ferocity. As long as the joints and muscles are arranged as you would expect, it is not terribly difficult to counterattack at close range.

Are you expecting trouble from a specific person here?

not sure if i could teach you self defense but i can definitely make a pretty impressive weapon for you!!1

I do not know what a "high school" is, but I can teach you how to use a bow and arrow, as well as a blade, if you would like. I make my own arrows; creating a bow would not be too difficult. I see Tetra has already offered her one of your swords, so I would not mind helping you.
