what about your memories?
as long as you can remember being a certain person, you might as well as be that person.
and i don't think whether you're a copy or not matters to your friends. for all they know, copy or not, you're still you.

you can let go of all the regrets your old self might have had
after all, no matter what they did wrong you didn't do it
what sort of person did you dream of being?
you could try to go after that dream
