Welcome back. It wasn't long, but your presence was missed.

It's a delight to be here I'm sure.

Has anything of note happened since I've been gone.

Jason was in charge all of last month, and put us in other people's bodies, with memory bleedover. Luckily the girl I was swapped with didn't summon any of my demons - it was difficult enough to manage when I could barely tell if I was her or me.

And so they simply continue to play games with their post.

It's disappointing to see.

[And aggravating as hell. It reveals something about their personalities but still so little about their motives.]

Did you expect anything else?

Yes, eventually.

For now, we're just waiting, and taking small victories where we can.

[Hes curious about what victories there have been Aleph. He really is.]

Sometimes that's all we can ask for.

Honestly, it doesn't change my actions. Even if my own world is gone, and I have nowhere to go home to, there are still the people here I have to protect, and the administrators are still abusing their power to try to crush us.

Why did you do it?

To have chosen Chaos, I mean.

[In Lucifers mind Chaos was a given ideology. It was the only correct ideology. But he knew the human mind would not necessarily see it that way. And it never interested him before. But now, after having spent so much more time with you Aleph. He has to know.]

I don't think I could have chosen anything else. Stand with Zayin and God when that meant allowing people no freedom and no hope for their own future? I couldn't do that. Not when I was the best person to overthrow Him.

I chose your side because I knew you were right, and making the wrong choice would have had consequences for many, many more people than just me.

[It's not as simple as you're saying. At least to most it wouldn't be. There is comfort in many to have others choose their path for them. To agree with them for the sake of having a cut and dry idea of where they will be led in the future. It seems as if Chaos is the anomaly and while Lucifer cannot deny that is in part the point of Chaos...he also must admit it bothers him at points.

He would never show his own insecurities, nor allow his insecurities to effect his actions. Lucifer would do as he had always done since he'd started his war with the Almighty, for there was no other path to truly take.

And it helps. To hear someone else say he is right. For even if Lucifer truly believes he's right, even someone as old as he can, for even a brief moment, consider that he might be wrong. Even someone as rooted in his actions for so long might at times realize the holes in his own beliefs.

For a moment, when he speaks, Lucifer sounds far older than usual.]

You said they can switch peoples bodies. Did anything else occur from that? Was the conscious switched in entirety, or did you gain the memories and feelings of the person whose body you were in?

As the days passed, more and more of the memories of the person whose body it was started leaking in, until I really almost couldn't tell whether I was Aleph or Urotsuki. There were also increasing vision problems, malfunctioning powers, and coughing up blood.

Do you retain any of those memories?

[He wants to ask if she has any of your memories. To see if someone else knows who he actually is here.

But he figures you more or likely haven't checked.]

I do, but they're faded and easy to distinguish.

[That still isn't enough. He needs answers, and the only way he'll know if the person you switched memories with remembers anything will be if he confronts them himself.]

Urotsuki. Teenage girl. I have no way of knowing how many of my memories she received.

Do you know where she is here? Or her room?

[Right, that would be helpful.]
