Has anyone ever attempted to contact our captors with the intent of meaningful conversation?

Sure! Plenty of people have called them out on the network, but the response time on those grievances is shit.

Sometimes one of them will actually deign to contact us instead, and people have gotten information though way though. Unfortunately, it's usually Jason come to rub it in all of our faces.

Jason is the main one I've seen and heard about. It seems rare that we hear much from either of the others. And it seems as if they've never given us a true idea of their motives and reasons for bringing us here.

Dax is committed to the idea that this is a rescue mission, as is Zo. The latter of which seems to be prevented from contacting us for fear he'll share information he shouldn't.

Who the fuck knows what Riki's thinking though.

I've spoke with Dax albeit briefly. He seems very....forthright. And I've heard of Zo.

Riki however I have no recollection of. Which one is that?

I'd also ask why Jason is tolerated when his desires seem so contradictory towards all others but ill assume no one has an answer for this either.

We barely knew about him until they rounded everyone up in the pods. I'm not entirely sure what he does, to be honest.

No clue. Don't think Dax likes him, but I know the girl probably has him piss sacred.

And so he has someone to keep him in line. Still, if this operation is as precarious as it seems it's odd they would allow someone who could be a risk to it to remain. Either Jason has a talent they're sorely in need of or their choices were just that small.

Does no one have any clue as to where they reside? Logically, they must be somewhere inside the Tower but if they live on any of the floors we can actually access I've yet to find them. When we were in pods and experimented on it seemed like we were also somewhere entirely different, although I could be wrong.

Does anyone know of any structures besides this Tower they have access too, or any other infrastructures that might be connected?

Probably the talent; we know he's got a lot of medical knowledge, and we believe he has something to do with the collars do. It's a safe bet that's why he's still around.

My guess is that they're underneath the Tower. There can't be anything above, since the highest floor is our dormitories, and whenever something out of the ordinary occurs, we go below the lowest floor.

I don't think anyone's ever been able to leave this Tower. The only thing we know of the outside is the whale that crashed in a while ago. That's it.

That is the only "life" we know of out there. Astounding.

You and me both! I come from a world where information is as easy as typing in a password. Hard to find dirty secrets when you hardly know where they exist

They exist everywhere. You know where they exist, you just can't unlock the door they're hidden behind.

If you believe it's annoying to have the ability to find such information taken away because you don't know the password, I can assure you the annoyance is increased tenfold when the knowledge tended to be nearly inherent to you.

There is little worse to fancy yourself being than a God, in my opinion.

As far as I'm concerned, thinking you're God would just mean you've got yourself some shitty self-esteem. So I'm with you on that point.

If poor self esteem were all our captors suffered from.

I haven't been here long, but it seems to me from the experiment I've gone through and the body switching I've heard about while I was gone that changing our identities our forms seems to be a reoccurring theme for them. Part of their goal at least seems to make us question who we are, or even mold who we are.

I wonder if that is the whole of their experiment, or just a step towards something else.

You think they want to mar our identities enough to rather reshape us or debuff resistance?

I could see that making sense, unfortunately. I'm wondering if that's their true goal, or just a "pleasant" consequence.

It would be a practical step to take. It's too early to say which it might be but I would be surprised if they had not noticed it was something they were capable of. And that they would take advantage of it when they noticed it.

It's just the nature of things; those who have enough power will inevitably try to "reshape" things to a form that suits them.

It's a sound idea in theory, but I've seen many people ground into the dust and reshaped into nothing but hatred and discontent for them. It'd only due to fuel hatred for them, with so many people on the opposite side of their own little bubble.

This is true. However in my experience those who cling to the notion I described, the idea of reshaping things to be pleasing to them, have developed a defense mechanism for when things don't go as planned. For when those they are "experimenting" on don't react the "right" way.

And it's a simple answer: the believe the problem must lie with the person that was subjected to their cruelties and not with their own system. The system is perfect, it was the specimen that was faulty.

It can be surprising just how desperately they grasp to their ideology, even while it crumbles around them.

So if we are the ones at fault, they continue their experiments, until we respond in the way that we should be responding, i.e. crippling fear and complacency.

If that's true, then they're more idiotic than I thought. Though maybe it's their determination to see their own method through that'll work out for us in the end.

I would take saying they're idiotic and replace that with fanatic. It can be quite easy to see fanaticism as but another form of idiocy, but in the end that can be a dangerous fallacy. They're intelligent; they're merely blinded by what they want. That's what makes them dangerous.

Still, you're correct. Their desire will have the chance to work in our favor by the end.
