[Darkleer's in the library. Which means he's attracting monsters by using the terminal. Which means they attempt to interrupt him. Which annoys him some more. Which means he's punching them with all his ridiculous STRENGTH. Which means he goes back to using the terminals. Which means there are more monsters. And more punching. And more anger. Etc.

...you might want to avoid the library for a while? Or maybe come in and get him out of the ridiculous rut he just got himself into. Or just bring popcorn. That works too.]

[The backing away is good. The grin is not. The grin is frankly unacceptable. Tired of this as it is, Darkleer changes his stance enough that the next arrow he throws, aiming straight for Gamzee's throat, carries most of his strength in it. That's a very fast, very deadly arrow.]

[The shield isn't high enough. It's that damn arrow already in his shoulder. Even if he thought he'd fixed it, he still unconsciously tried to keep the shield out of the way. (Which was funny, considering the object was literally made of nothing.)

The arrow meets its mark and the mime's eyes widen. All imaginary creations fall away and he's left on his knees, good hand clutching at the shaft in his throat.]

[He watches the whole thing impassively and without an ounce of remorse. Or well, that's a lie. He's somewhat annoyed that it took three arrows to get it done. He should have used just one, the first one.

Man, he's going soft in his old age.]

[Even Gamzee's gurgling is next to silent.

He releases the arrow, shaky hand forming into the shape of a pistol. He can't aim it properly, however, so when the "shot" goes off, it misses even Darkleer's large frame by a bit.

Even if he doesn't bleed to death, he won't be doing anywhere for a while.]
