Apologies and Cakes. [Text]

Good evening everyone. I need to apologize to a few people, and since I haven't been able to run into them, hopefully they'll be able to see this text.

Nesir: I do admit that I was in the wrong when I killed you. It was this darn costume. It's been messing with me, and for those first couple of days, I didn't realize that it was the costume controlling me. I am sorry. However, I am also willing to bargain. I have eighteen pieces of candy on me right now. I am willing to exchange these with you for the belongings you stole from me especially Similar to The Sky. That book is precious to me and I want it back.

Kidou: I'm terribly, terribly sorry for what I said and did to you. You were under your costume's influence too, and I said and did some horribly cruel things to you. I hope you can forgive me. If there's anything I can help you with, please, let me know.

Ganondorf/Ganondork: I do apologize for trying to kill you, but know that I am someone! I am Tohko Amano, the book girl, and no matter how much power you have, your love and knowledge of books shall never exceed mine!

Romeo: I apologize for ripping out your heart. That was the costume again, and I am truly sorry. However, I think you owe me an apology too, as you also attacked me for no reason at all.

Also, since this month has been rather rough, I will be whipping up some cakes and other sweets for people to eat on the 31st! Anyone is allowed to come, eat, and cheer up. However, there are some rules. No killing each other and no making a mess. Also, no alcohol, if you were planning on bringing that in somehow.

"Well it do be a pain to walk this far," Nesir grumbled gesturing at her wooden leg. She had gotten used to it but still, it made the going slow.

She looked at the buttons that Tohko was pointing to. "Of course I do be understanding, but how do this be working? What do it even be? How did you be able to see what I wrote?"

"Oh. Sorry. I didn't think it would cause you this much trouble." Tohko paused, trying to think of how best to explain this. "This computer, and all the others you see, are connected to a network, which allows you to comment on what people post and send each other private messages. That is how I was able to see what you wrote. It's a communications tool."

"Yes walking with one leg do be really easy, I do no be knowing why I have so much trouble." Nesir glared at the girl, "Yes but what do a network be? I do no be understanding."

Nesir came from a world where communication meant writing a letter and finding someone traveling to give it to. She had often ran errands around the temple bringing notes to one priestess or other, so a system like that was so far beyond anything she could imagine.

"Again, I do apologize." Tohko sighed. "Hmm..a network, at least, in the technological sense, is..basically a way to tie people together. You see, if these computers were all separated, we wouldn't be able to talk to each other. We'd just write things on them. However, when a network is in place, all of these computers are tied together. We can see each others posts and messages." Tohko chuckled.

"I'm sorry if this sounds strange. I'm not that good at explaining technology. Machines and I don't always see eye-to-eye. I only know the stuff I do about it thanks to my..brother."

A way to tie people together? Nesir nodded though she wasn't completely sure what Tohko was talking about. But it seemed that something; maybe this string that was thicker than any string Nesir had seen before, was holding them together in the way Tohko was saying. "So I can be talking to anyone on these... computers?"

Tohko nodded with a smile. "Yup! That you can! I've shown you the basic functions, and the rest are easy to grasp if you mess with them a little. So..there you are. That's how you operate the computers and the network."

"Wait." Nesir frowned, "How do you be doing what you did be doing. Saying something for the first time and not just be replying to other people?"

"Ah. Well, you first have to log on with your name over in that text box-", Tohko began, pointing a small white box in the corner of the screen. "And then you should see everyone else's messages along with a bright red button on the lower right corner. If you click that, you can make your own messages."

Nesir stared at the screen, "How do I be 'clicking' it?" She poked the screen to see if that would work.

Tohko chuckled. "Well, not like that. Like this." Tohko grabbed onto the mouse, and moved it around so that Nesir could see the cursor. "You use this mouse to move the white arrow around, and to click on something, you just move over to it and click the left button on this." Tohko explained, pointing to the mouse.

Nesir looked at her, her remaining eye narrowing. "Do you be thinking I do be stupid?" She asked with a glare, "I do be knowing what a mouse do be being and that do no be a mouse."

Tohko sighed. "Sorry, I know the name is weird, but back home, these things were also called mice. They kind of look like them. You see, that wire is the tail, and what I'm holding is the body. I know it's not the animal, but it's what we called it."

"That do be a stupid name," she looked at the thing but nodded. "So I do be clicking that, that do be making sense."

"I know it's not the best of names. It's not like I'm the one who came up with it." Tohko then smiled and nodded. "Yup! Just click that, log in with your name, and you should be fine."

Nesie scowled again but nodded. "Thank you I do be understanding." She paused for a moment before adding, "It did be kind of you to show me." She might not forgive the girl for killing her but she wanted to be known as polite.

"You're welcome! And..don't worry about it. It's the least I could offer after what I did to you." Tohko then gathered her courage and asked, "Now, please, could you return my things to me? Especially Similar to The Sky. That book..it's precious to me."

"You do be promising to be giving me the eighteen candies?" Nesir asked suspiciously but nodded taking out her map. "I do be taking you there."

Tohko nodded. "I promise." Tohko took the candy out of her pockets and put it on the table for Nesir. "Alright then. Please, take me there."

Nesir grinned and took the candies from the table, stuffing them in her pockets before taking out her map. "Alright then, if you can be following me!" She began to lead the way up the stairs, slowly and falteringly.

Tohko lightly chuckled. "Don't worry, I think I can keep up." Tohko followed Nesir, keeping at her pace. She wondered where her stuff had been hidden. She had searched for buried treasure in the meadow and forest, but hadn't found anything.

Nesir led the way to the farm floor, clambering up onto the island and going to the shed to find a spade before giving it to Tohko and leading the way to a far corner following her map, she felt bad about digging up the treasure but she could put the candy there and that was more valuable! "It do be here."

Tohko smiled and nodded at those words. "Thank you." Tohko quickly began to dig, and even though it took a little while-she wasn't the strongest book girl in the world-she eventually came upon a large chest. She happily opened it and examined it's contents.

Inside were her clothes, parasol, daggers, and Sabers shinai. However, one thing was missing. "Where is Similar to The Sky?!" She cried.

Nesir did nothing to help, she couldn't really dig with just one leg anyways but even if she was whole she probably wouldn't have bothered. After all it was Tohko who was so desperate to get her things back. Nesir didn't care as long as she could bury the candies afterwards.

"What? That do be all the stuff I did be taking."

Tohko sighed and bit her lip, trying to calm down. "Please don't lie to me. All that was left in my trunk was No Longer Human and a notebook with it's pen. You took Similar to The Sky too. Now, please, where is it? That book is very important to me. It's irreplaceable."

"I did no be taking it," Nesir was a very good liar, she had to be to survive and she sneered at Tohko. "I did no be wanting your stupid book. What would I be even doing with it. It do no be valuable."
