As most of you are aware, Thanksgiving is coming up. For those that do not know, considering the number of parallel worlds and such, Thanksgiving is a national holiday, and it's purpose is to give thanks to each other for the work that they have done throughout the year, and to celebrate the fruits of that labor, not to be confused with the American version.

[And China didn't exactly celebrate it, but hey, he's been in Japan even longer to know more about their holidays.]

Personally, I don't celebrate it in any country, however, I still feel as if this might be a time to uplift spirits of those that would need it. I am aware that many do not care for the meaning for them, though I am sure opinions would shift with the food offered and could be made. Not only that, but I feel there are others who might benefit from learning how to cook, be it new recipes, or learning from scratch; I will also not be cooking everything by myself.

Is there anyone in this tower who would like to assist me, or take lessons?

It's not celebrated here, but I heard about the holiday! I, for one, wouldn't mind helping out with the preparations. I'm also a pretty decent cook.

How much experience do you have with cooking?

Plenty! I started cooking since I was a little girl.

[ When there were no parents at home most of the day, you had to adapt somehow. ]

I see. Do you perhaps any ideas/recipes to contribute to the feast?

Hmmm, I know plenty of japanese recipes and some international ones. I could try to make a mix of both, but it also depends on which ingredients are available here.

I need to learn to cook a few more meals anyway.

[ Her reasoning is more for herself than anything. She does not want to seem like she is wasting her energy. ]

Thanksgiving preparations? Count me in! [An enthusiastic fist-pump.] Contrary to what some people think, I'm actually a pretty good cook! But it kind of depends on what food we'd be making... I don't know any good recipes for turkey.

As it stands, there is more to plan aside from a turkey, so the more varied the cooking is. The better. How much experience do you have?

Whew, okay! I was just worried about that because that's the centerpiece of Thanksgiving, if I remember correctly. I've got... oh, a few hundred years worth of experience? When you have to fend for yourself, you learn a few things! Haha!
