[The person who appears on the video feed looks like Chihiro and certainly sounds like him but something is off. Especially how he's on a completely green background and there's something not quite natural about the way he moves.

This is Alter Ego. The 'strong' AI programme Chihiro created. Strong in the sense that it's able to learn and think on its own. Chihiro got it back from the last event.

Alter looks very distressed right now.]

Help!! Someone please help! Master is very ill! He can't get out of bed! Please help him! Someone!

Well, they brought Toto over for me! Ah, Toto's my cat.

[Reaching down, she picks him up to show: a kind of scruffy black cat who meows at the screen disinterestedly and then tries to squirm out of Kazumi's grip]

[Toto perks up and meows a bit at his name, but then he squirms out of Kazumi's hands and drops back out of sight onto her lap.]

Hehe... does Chihiro like cats? I could bring him over, if he's not feeling too badly.

Master does like them but he is also afraid of them for one of them scratched him before. Does Toto scratch?

Oh, um... not usually! And I don't think he'd scratch someone as nice as Chihiro.

[Gosh she sure doesn't know the troubles Satomi went through taming him]

[Kazumi quietly opens the door and peeks inside]

Is it okay if I come in? I brought my cat, Toto, to visit!

[He tries to sit up a bit.]

Ah, don't get up on my account!

[She hurries in the room, closing the door after her and moving to Chihiro's side.]

But.. you've come to visit me... I can't...

[He does lie back down]

Sick people shouldn't overexert themselves!

[Kazumi smiles and takes a seat on the bed by Chihiro, cat in her lap]

I'd be really sad if you got worse because I came to bother you.

Aww, don't look down. I'm just worried about you, that's all! Sorry if that sounded a little harsh...

Heheh... well, I brought my cat, Toto over to cheer you up! I spoke with Alter Ego and he said you'd like that.

[She scoots closer and holds Toto over towards Chihiro. The cat meows curiously at him]

I-I see... Uh... hello, Toto... [and he reaches out hesitantly to pet the cat]

[Toto squirms a bit and bats at Chihiro's hand, but at least he doesn't use his claws]

He's kind of scruffy-looking, but he's friendly!

Ah! [he pulls back his hand a bit] He doesn't bite or scratch then?

Nope! [At least, he shouldn't...] Would you like to hold him? Or I guess, let him sit on your lap? He doesn't always like to be held up for a long time.

[As evidenced by how he's squirming as Kazumi holds him out to Chihiro]

[Kazumi sets Toto down on Chihiro's lap. The cat hops down, stepping about a bit as he gets his footing, before looking up and meowing at Chihiro curiously]
