[Immediately after this thread, Waver types up a text entry on the network. He doesn't really think about what he's saying, he just needs to warn as many people as possible.]


I assume most people here read this. This is important. Ryuunosuke Uryuu is from my world, and he's said he doesn't see a point in doing the same here, but nonetheless, I think everyone should be aware of any potential danger. If I said nothing and something happened...I would be partially to blame.

He was a serial killer - children, mostly.

[Even still the memory is terrible, and his hands shake as he types.]

I found where he kept the bodies. He calls it 'art'. I can't imagine anything worse than that scene. They didn't even look human anymore.

Just be careful. He seemed nice enough. That's the worst part.

It was noted I should describe him rather than only give a name. He's tall, maybe 5'8", orange-brown hair, he has piercings in his ears, and his personality seemed to be helpful and amicable to me.

Cut up people and made them into weapons.

I've heard he was here, actually, but haven't managed to lay eyes on him yet. Short, redheaded guy, arrogant asshole.

I don't know if they would get along well or be at odds, but either way, if that person is here too, they'll need to be kept apart.

He's not precisely the outgoing type, so that would work in our favor to keep them separated. In fact, I've not seen him since I got here, just heard tell from others that he was about.

Maybe this would be better discussed in person. You up for a meeting?

[And sure enough, within fifteen minutes, he peeks into the workshop, not wanting to look around in the middle of the room like an idiot.]

[Kankuro's there, just rolling up a scroll with a nonchalant air and brushing away some sawdust. He looks up and offers a casual wave.]

[Waver returns that wave nervously and steps forward.]

Hi there.

So, you wanted to talk about these guys?

Yeah, figured it was better to put our heads together where things are a bit more private.

So, this Ryuunosuke guy. Other than generally being pleasant until he goes psycho, does he have anything notable about what he does? Motivations, anything like that?

Right. He replied to my post, so he could easily see anything there.

I think his motivation is just...a fascination with death. He told me his death in our world was disappointing because it was instant. But here he's died several times...and particularly enjoyed one involving acid, and another with a severe stomach wound. I think he goes after children and young women because they can't very well fight back, so it's not the struggle he's interested in.

[He bites his lip, the memory of Caster's atelier is still difficult.]

The bodies I saw...they didn't look human. It was beyond mutilation.

Enjoyed, huh? Definitely a sick puppy. I've seen my share of ugly killings, unfortunately comes with the territory, but if he himself enjoyed dying too...

Huh. And thereare a bunch of kids running around here, aren't there. And more than a few young women, too. Great.

[He frowns, his gaze going a little distant as he thinks things over.]

So he knows you're agitating people against him. Is he the type to sneak, or to rub your nose in what he's doing?

From our earlier conversation, I think he's most likely to rub my nose in it. But I plan to keep a close watch on him. ...Even if that means spending most of my time with him.

[Which definitely is not something he wants to be doing. But if it guarantees everyone's safety...]

Sounds like a barrel of fun, that.

Still, better than the alternative. At least if he's rubbing your nose in it, you'll know what he's up to.

I'd ask if you're sure you're up to it, but it sounds like you're not gonna get the choice anyway. [He's eyeing him with a look of concern, though. Getting all buddy-buddy with a psych is pretty stressful shit.]

I don't think he particularly cares to hide it anyway - he's not going to bring it up for no reason at all, but he's not about to hide it either, you know?

A friend of mine will probably be there quite often too, so, it should be fine.

[As much as he doesn't want to admit to needing or wanting it, he's sure Rider would look out for him.]

Is anyone planning to do something about this person you know?

So far as Sasori goes? I know my brother's had some contact with him, and has been keeping something of an eye on him, but the more, the better.

'Sasori' - is that his name, then? I'll watch for him as well, you said he was on the shorter end, with red hair?

[Well, Kankuro could offer a visual aid -- but it would be reeeeeally hard to explain in any kind of not-creepy fashion. So he'll hold off on whipping out the puppet.]

That's right. Akasuna no Sasori is the name. I don't think he's the kind of guy to make waves, but then again... he's part of a criminal organization, back where I'm from.

Yeah, potentially. But if people start disappearing... well. I dunno how the shit he does would work in a place like this. He doesn't technically kill people, after all....

...Then, what does he do? You said he turns them into weapons, but...

Compared to that, killing them sounds benevolent!

Yeah.

I don't know how much of them still lives, whether their souls are bound - but he preserves enough that their life energy is his to command. Puppets of people with all their ninjutsu intact...
