[In Japanese:]
I've come to understand that there is something wrong with the languages in this tower... until now, I thought everyone spoke Japanese but I guess that's just how the "translator" works.
If you can understand this language, but it's not a language you're familiar with, this is Japanese. I would be willing to answer any questions you might have about this language or anything else, don't be afraid to ask.
For anyone wondering, Japanese is my first language, and the only other language I can speak is English. But if you need someone to translate Japanese to English or vice verse, I would be willing to help.
[He clears his throat, and starts speaking again. Only this time it's in slightly accented English.]
I can speak English, enough for talking. I don't know who needs help, but I can translate Japanese to English and English to Japanese. Please ask if you need this.
And... can you teach me your language, if you know more? I would like to learn more.
[There's a pause and he frowns a bit sadly, before speaking again. First in Japanese, then repeated in English.]
On another note, Kageyama Reiji is gone. I found his grave the other day.

[That's the only thing he can say, whatever he wanted to address from what Kidou said previously forgotten. Hearing this actually makes him feel sad.]
video; japanese
I was going to visit Haruna's grave when I noticed one with his name on it. I checked his room just in case and his trunk was empty.
[He knows Kageyama could return but... knowing he's actually dead back home makes his parting just more painful.]
video; japanese
[He's being completely truthful. Being in the tower's taught him that despite the things that Kageyama's done, he's not completely terrible. Sakuma's looking pretty downcast at this point too because he also realizes what going back home means for the man.]

When he finally speaks up again, his voice is a bit hesitant and he shifts his gaze to the side, though it's hard to tell because of his goggles.]
Hey... do you want to.. pick a bouquet of flowers, for Sousuii's grave? [Neither of them really had a chance to properly honor Kageyama after he died back home..]
video; japanese
That doesn't sound like a bad idea, yeah. Let's meet at the meadow?
video; japanese -> action;
[And after a few minutes, Kidou enters the meadow floor and stops just short of the doorway, looking at all the different types of flowers to pick.]
action;
Hey.
action forever ok fuck subject titles tbh
Yo.
[Then he turns his attention back to the flowers.]
I was thinking of picking some narcissus... they're his favorite type of flower.

[He doesn't doubt that Kidou would know though so without wasting any more time, he walks past Kidou into the field, looking around him to see if he can spot any.]

He's never out rightly stated that they were his favorite, but he was always fond of them I've noticed. [He crouches down in front of a group of daffodil.]
You might not know it, but daffodils are also narcissus. Though Sousuii never really liked daffodils specifically, he always said they were too yellow for his taste. [He stands up again and looks around.]
He always preferred the ones with the white petals, and whenever we went to a field with flowers growing, I'd make sure to look for at least one.
Though, I've never actually thought about why he liked narcissus the most... perhaps it's the color, or maybe it's the poison in it's leaves. [That's when he spots a few white narcissi, growing in the midst of bright, yellow daffodil. His smile is fond, and a bit sad.]
But whatever his reason was, there's no other flower that fits him the most. Because the meaning of the narcissus -- [He makes his way over and crouches down in front of them, gently picking one of the flowers at the base of it's stem.]
Is a new beginning.

But things turned out differently and through it all, the fact that Kageyama remained special to Kidou remained so how can Sakuma hate someone like that?
When Kidou reaches the end of his narration, Sakuma nods slowly as he thought over what his friend just said.]
He gave us the chance for that, didn't he.
[Whether it was to give an orphaned boy a new home or to bring soccer back to another.]

...if things had turned out differently, he would have had a chance himself. [It was nice though... the few months he got to spend with the true Kageyama.]

.. If you're sad, I want to cheer you up. You shouldn't be sad..

[He smiles a bit halfheartedly]
no subject
That smile is only half-hearted, even someone as blank and half oblivious as Urotsuki can notice that! So her expression noticably deflates, even if she doesn't say anything. Yeah, that's right, she's just going to give you the puppy eyes (although not on purpose...) until you give in. ]

but... they are so upset... and cute.. and..............
After a minute or so of a silent stare down with those big ol' puppy eyes, he lets out a small sigh.]
I'm happy that you want to comfort me, but I really will be fine, Urotsuki. You don't have to worry about me. [And after a pause...]
... Though If you would like to spend some time together in person, I wouldn't mind.
no subject
You really don't mind?
no subject
Yeah, why would I mind?
no subject
I'm just glad.
[ Because of course she always would like to spend time with him, but right now it's even more important - she still hasn't given up on trying to cheer him up. ]
