So, I have heard several languages being spoken here recently, but I can't understand anything so far... Not even what I recognize as Japanese or English! I don't know how such a thing is possible, but it seems obvious now that I'm not the only one experiencing this!

[Yeah, there was something about translators, but that shouldn't mess around with being able to understand your native tongue... right?]

Is there anybody at all out there who can understand me right now? Many people here speak an impressive number of languages! Yes, it's truly impressive...! Actually, I am truly ashamed of my own lack of foresight right now. If I had studied more than only English, I would have been prepared for just this kind of situation!! From now on, I'll make sure to devote time to learning any language I can in this Tower!

I will start by asking that anybody who can understand me teach me anything else they know!

[Yeah, he seems pretty pleased with that idea. He repeats the message again in Vietnamese, albeit a little paraphrased. And for those who don't understand him... He holds up a paper and a pencil so they're clearly visible on camera. He taps the pencil against the paper to signify that he is totally ready for pictionary if he needs to be. This can only end in awful misinterpretations all around.]

[Well, he can recognize the sound of his own name at least. He stares at the screen for a moment before kind of mirroring the wave.]

He holds the paper up again and taps it insistently before pointing to the screen.]

[He gets up to go get some paper and a pencil, returning with both in hand a few minutes later.]

[What the heck is that giant kanji in the middle supposed to- OH. Okay, they must be stick figures. He's... pretty sure, anyway...

He squints a little at the screen, trying to decipher it. Okay, so the left one has a hat? ...Wait, no, it's got to be Mondo's hair. Maybe? The right one has spiky hair, so that must be...]

He points to the drawing of himself first.]

[ Oh, it's Ishimaru. But...what's he speaking? She responds in Hindi, herself. If this doesn't work out...ehhh, she's fairly good at drawing. ]

[He takes a moment to try to recall if he's ever heard a language like that. Nope. Can't place it at all... He wonders what it is.]

I can't understand you!

[Shaking his head a bit.]

She does, however, hold up her notebook, and give a bit of a grin. Pictionary she can do. ]

[He brightens up a bit and holds up his pencil again, then points at the screen. Your move first, Kaname.]

[ She appears to be hard at work...!

And then aout five minutes later, she holds up a drawing of...Ishimaru himself. It's a little chibi-like, such is her style, but hey--she managed to get all the details right. ]

[Hey, it's him! Now, he's not really big on the arts or anything, but he's pretty sure that Madoka is waaay more talented at it than he is.

...Which means he'll just have to work harder at it. YEAH.]



[Wait, the point of this was drawing each other, right? What if she was trying to tell him something. Oops. Too late...]

the sad thing is she'd probably do this even if there wasn't a running joke about pie charts

[ OH THAT'S ADORABLE, she thinks. She smiles widely and claps. Okay, uh. What to do next. To be honest she didn't think this thing out, but seeing a frand on the network looking confused is an immediate ping for her...!

She ends up producing another sketch of Ishimaru...standing proudly next to a pie-chart. Ishimaru-san likes order, right? So he's organized, maybe he likes pie charts, too...!

[ ... What.. the heck... Give Leon just a long moment to stare, he didn't understand a single bit of that. Not the first time, not the second time, nope. He knew Ishimaru was weird, but now he sure only is even more weird, what even. ]

[ He raises a finger up to his temple, circling there as if to say 'are you nuts?' but there's also an audible equivalent of it, at least. ]

[Ishimaru's not really sure what that gesture is supposed to mean, but it does confirm that trying to talk to Leon is going to be a wasted effort.

He points to his mouth, then his ear, then the screen, and emphatically shakes his head.]

[ I was about to say, did you truly expect anything substantial to come out of this, I don't think so, thanks.

And woah, woah, this sign language is too advanced for Leon, he only knows how to tell people they're retarded!! Okay, sounds like mouth, 3 syllables this is.. still vaguely understandable, he can't understand him either, huh.

At that Leon just makes the face in the icon. Just that. He's too lazy to think of a way to solve this, okay. And hasn't considered pictionary yet. ]
